Abstract:

The synthesis of copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) using leaf extract offers a sustainable and eco-friendly
alternative to conventional methods. This study investigates the green synthesis of CuNPs utilizing
Azadirachta Indica leaf extracts as reducing and stabilizing agents. Various parameters such as
temperature, pH, concentration, and reaction time were optimized for the formation of the
nanoparticles. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to analyse the structural, and chemical properties. The results
demonstrate the efficient reduction of copper ions to nanoparticles.
