The Correlation Between Amounts Of Time Spent Playing...
What is the relationship between the amounts of time spent playing video games and
your amount of sleep?
Introduction
Nearly every day, you can read articles about urbanized countries throughout the world,
with issues or concerns arising from individuals playing video games for excessive
amounts of time. Individuals form addictions to a surge in excessive or violent
behaviors, commonly found among teens or younger children. Studies also indicate
playing excessive amounts of video games can also have an effect on your sleeping
patterns in a negative way. For instance, playing an extreme amount of video games
prior to going to bed may create a more difficult time in falling asleep. So, I decided to
take on a similar yet different type of study to discover out how much video gaming an
average high schooler plays each night and how this may affect how many hours of
sleep he/she receives. I was unable to find any online articles for this type of study, so I
decided to find out for myself using the high school population at a local school. As the
study began, I did believe that students who participated in excessive video gaming may
receive less sleep.
Statement of Task
The focus of this study was to investigate if the amount of time students spend playing
video games each evening may have an influence on the quantity of sleep the average
high school student receives. To determine this, I requested teachers to allow me to
survey students during school hours in an
King Philip Letter To Spain
Greetings Pantheon University Admissions,

I am Francisco de Vitoria, founder of the School of Salamanca. I assume our great

leader, Philip of Spain, has graced me with the honor of writing this letter to your
university because of how I successfully run my own. Of course, It would not be as
successful if not for the rule of King Philip. I am indebted to our King, for under his rule
our school flourished and became one of the greatest academies in Spain.

King Philip has many loyal followers, including myself because of his devoutness to the
Lord and Catholic Church. The emergence of protestant churches has threatened our the
Holy Roman Church, and King Philip has done everything he can to keep the Empire
under control such as organizing the Spanish Armada and strengthening the Inquisition.
As you all remember, the Dutch rebellion was a dark time for us all, but with the power
of God, our King restored the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Trade from the Americas has been regulated, and we are reaping the benefits. Gold,
silver, spices, sugar fuel our school, our philosophers, our scientists, our theologians, and
they will fuel yours too.

Of course being of imperial status, our King s upbringing was limitless compared to those
of our own. His immeasurable amount of education, including tutelage under Juan
Martínez Siliceo, whom is now the Archbishop of Toledo, and even the illustrious Juan
Cristóbal Calvete de Estrella.

Finally, I encourage you to accept Philip into your school, for he is a man of God, and
a wise leader. We have a quote of his at the entrance of our own university, It is impiety,
and almost blasphemy to presume to know the will of God. It comes from the sin of
pride. Even kings, Brother Nicholas, must submit to being used by God s will without
knowing what it is. They must never seek to use it.

Sincerely, Francisco de

How Does Mark Twain Use Satire In Huckleberry Finn
So you ve been gone a couple days, Alison said. Hmm, what d you miss...A celebrity
did drugs. Politicians disagreed. A different celebrity wore a bikini that revealed a
bodily imperfection. A team won a sporting event, but another team lost. I smiled. You
can t go disappearing on everybody like this, Hazel. You miss too much. ~John Green.
John Green is criticizing how Americans only care about irrelevant events going on in
the world. Americans would choose to hear the latest celebrity gossip, over an event
that affected the world. John Green is comparable to Mark Twain, whom also is a big
critic of American society. Mark Twain used humor to make fun of family feuds,
hypocrisy among religion, and the gullibility of people to fall for a prank. In The
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain used satire to his advantage and humiliated
many aspects of American society.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Grangerford s have been in a family feud with Shepherdson s for as long as they
can remember. The feud has been going on for so many generations that the reason
they are fighting is unknown. Twain used humor by adding the fact that they are
fighting for no apparent reason. This targets the many family feuds in America.
Families go above and beyond to torment each other. Twain accomplishes what he is
targeting by showing how far the families would go. It was young Harney Shepherdson.
I heard Buck s gun go off at my ear, and Harney s hat tumbled off from his head (Twain
118). Buck has never had a problem with Harney, but Buck still nonchalantly shoots him
because he is a Shepherdson. People reach the extent of killing innocent citizens because
of a dispute that occurred many generations
Essay Comparing Mccandless And Treadwell
The great western planes of the United States, undeveloped, powerful, and majestic;
Though humans try to colonize the vast expanse they cannot do any such thing. From
lack of water to powerful tornados, the colonization is at least partially ceased by
nature s own advances. How can people continue to think that the world is their oyster
when it obviously rejects them in so many ways? Explorers of the sea set out to
discover some long lost treasure only to discover a murky grave below the depths. A
man living homeless in a great city of opportunity freezes to death on a cold winter
night. Though these stories are often not heard, they are certainly more common than
expected. When one tries to set out on their own and become a success, nature s fury
seems to get in the way. How can those of today go into a wild environment and expect
everything to be roses and daffodils? The answer, they are... Show more content on

ship. They rode in a unreasonably small dingy trying to combat the sea where, [t]he
horizon narrowed and widened, and dipped and rose, and at all times its edge was
jagged with waves that seemed thrust up in points like rocks (603). The men did all that
they could to stay afloat as the smallest of movements could tip the boat in the storm
they were under. It was only after days of constant battle that the men were able to

Psalm 78 Is The Psalm Of Remembrance
Psalm 78 is the psalm of remembrance. In the beginning, the psalmist commands the
attention of the present age to what we have heard and known. We should not conceal
them from our children, but it is our responsibility to tell the generations to come to
praise the Lord about his strength and wondrous works he has done. This is such a good
reminder for me! Sometimes we are influenced by the value of this world and we pay too
much attentions to teach the children the knowledge of the languages, sciences or arts,
but we forget the more important thing is to help our children put their confidence in God
and fear the Lord since they are still young. In the Psalm 78:9 39, the psalmist
remembers many miracles God has done for the Israel and how God
