Mrs. Kamalpreet Kaur is applying under Article 8 and family reunion rules to add her partner Mr. Avtar Singh as a dependent on her asylum application in the UK. She has lived in the UK for 5 years and has a 3-year-old daughter who was born in the UK, making the daughter a British citizen. She is requesting that her partner be granted the right to remain in the UK to protect her daughter's welfare and best interests, as his support is important for her emotional and psychological development. Refusing her partner stay would have a damaging impact on her daughter's mental health, as they have no other family in the UK.

I am Mrs Kamalpreet Kaur and currently residing in the United
Kingdom. I live with my long term partner and my child who is born in the United Kingdom. I am making this application under Article 8 and family reunion route to be add my partner Mr Avtar Singh to our application a dependant. I was granted asylum refugee status for five years to stay in the United Kingdom (UK) The details are as follows :
Partner name : Kamalpreet Kaur
Date of Birth : 05/02/1988 Nationality: India Home Office Reference Number : S1805964
Child name : Amandeep Kaur
Date of Birth: 20/01/2023 Nationality : India Home Office Reference Number: S1805964
I would like to apply for my partner as a right to remain in the UK
based on a human rights his right to family and private life in the UK under ‘Article 8‘ application. Me and my partner have been living together for nearly 3 years and we have a child together for whom I will attach the birth certificate for.
However as my child is born in the united kingdom it is in her best
interest of the child to grant my partner stay as he is needed for her emotional and psychological support. As under Section 55 of the 2009 Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act. It is required that the Home Office is required by law to make sure that decisions concerning children safeguard and promote the welfare of children. The life of my child child has established in the UK and will be for the remaining of her life, as my child is a British citizen, because if her father is removed it will have a very damaging impact on her mental health. As we do not have any extended family in the United Kingdom.
Also I would like my partner the right to remain on the basis of
family life, as we are in a genuine and subsiding relationship. We have formed a family life together and want to continue living together as couple. If my partner is refused stay me and my daughter will suffer insurmountable obstacles as he plays a vital role in taking care of me and our child.
