My Favorite Season Winter

There are six seasons in Bangladesh. They are the summer, the rainy season, the autumn, the
late autumn, the winter and the spring. Winter comes after the late autumn. It is the coldest
season. It starts in November and lasts up to February.

Days are shorter, and the nights are longer in winter. It’s the season of mist and fog. The sun
rises late and sets early. People wear heavy clothing to stay warm. Most of the trees shed their
leaves. Various kinds of fresh vegetables are available during the winter. Everything is fresh and
tasty in this season. In this winter, I went to Chottogram to my grand ma’s house. I met my
relatives, cousins there & enjoyed delicious seasonal fruits & cakes there. It is also a season for
traveling. Last winter, we went to Cox’sbazar for vacation.

It is a difficult season for the poor. Sometimes, cold waves hit & poor suffers a lot. I wish
everybody get warm clothes for winter & enjoy their winter.
