As an integral part of the Football Regulatory Subdivision, the Agents

Department is primarily responsible for leading FIFA’s strategic project of the

re-regulation of the football agent industry in accordance with FIFA’s
blueprint strategy: The Vision 2020-23. The project started in late 2017 with
consultations with member associations, stakeholders and agent organisations
and has now been implemented with the approval of the new FIFA Football
Agent Regulations.

The Agents Department manages the procedures relating to disputes involving

Football Agents decided by the Agents Chamber of the Football Tribunal and
the licence applications to become and remain a FIFA-licensed Football
Agent.

For the time the injunction is in effect, Football Agents domiciled in Germany
will not be displayed in this directory.
For those candidates who are not exempt from taking the FIFA football agent
exam, the first step to obtain a licence to act as a Football Agent is to submit
an application via the FIFA Agent Platform.

Certain eligibility requirements must be met. Check the FIFA Football Agent
Regulations for further details.

If your application is successful, you will be invited to sit the FIFA Football
Agent Exam.

You can freely choose at which member association you want to take the
exam. The exam lasts 60 minutes and comprises twenty multiple choice
questions designed to test your knowledge of FIFA regulations and the
football transfer system. The pass mark is 75%. You will have to bring your
own laptop and provide your own internet connection to take the exam.
There will be two FIFA football agent exams held in 2023. The following
application deadlines apply:

19 April 2023

First FIFA football agent exam on 19 April 2023: from 9 January 2023 to 15
March 2023

20 September 2023

Second FIFA football agent exam on 20 September 2023: from 1 May 2023 to
31 July 2023

In 2024, FIFA will conduct two football agent exams in May and November.
The following application deadlines will apply:

May 2024

Deadline of 31 March 2024; and

November 2024

Deadline of 30 September 2024
