Comparison Essay Topic

Crafting a comparison essay can be a challenging task that demands a combination of critical
thinking, analytical skills, and effective communication. The difficulty lies not only in identifying
suitable points of comparison but also in presenting them coherently to convey a meaningful message
to the reader.

One of the initial challenges is selecting a topic that not only sparks interest but also provides ample
room for meaningful comparison. This process involves careful consideration of the similarities and
differences between two or more subjects, ensuring that the chosen elements can be thoroughly
explored and analyzed within the confines of the essay.

Once a topic is chosen, the challenge shifts to the research phase. Adequate understanding of the
subjects being compared is crucial, as it forms the foundation for constructing a well-informed and
insightful essay. Gathering relevant information, data, or examples to support your points is a time-
consuming yet necessary step in the essay-writing process.

The next hurdle is organizing the information in a logical and coherent manner. Crafting a clear and
effective thesis statement that encapsulates the main point of the essay is essential. Arranging the
body paragraphs in a way that seamlessly transitions between points of comparison while
maintaining clarity and focus requires careful thought and planning.

Moreover, the challenge extends to ensuring that the essay strikes a balance between the comparison
itself and the analysis of the implications or significance of the identified similarities and differences.
A successful comparison essay not only highlights the points of convergence and divergence but also
delves into why these aspects matter and what insights can be gleaned from them.

Lastly, polishing the essay to ensure clarity, conciseness, and adherence to the chosen writing style is
an additional layer of complexity. Attention to detail, proper citation of sources, and thorough
proofreading are essential to produce a high-quality comparison essay.

In conclusion, the difficulty of writing a comparison essay lies in the intricate process of topic
selection, comprehensive research, thoughtful organization, and insightful analysis. However, for

To Kill A Mockingbird Racial Injustice
Harper Lee was an American novelist during the sixties. She is most known for her
best selling novel To Kill a Mockingbird, and her newer release Go Set a Watchman.
Lee helped shaped the way that people felt during the Civil Right s movement in the
sixties, and even the way that people felt in the past few years about the racial injustices
going on in our world. Nelle Harper Lee was born on April 28, 1926 in Monroeville,
Alabamato Amasa Coleman (A.C) Lee and Francis Cunningham Finch Lee. Lee was
the youngest of four children, and her father was a lawyer, and her mother was said to
have suffered from a type of mental illness, and rarely ever left the house. Lee was very
tomboyish growing up. She was not afraid to stand up to the bullies... Show more content

It did not go through publication however, because her editor thought it would be
better if the narrator of the story, Scout, was a child. So Go Set a Watchman was put
aside and discarded until Lee s lawyer Tonja Carter found the old manuscript in a safe
deposit box in February of 2015. Because Lee was 88 years old at the time the
manuscript was found and was struggling with numerous health issues, society
wondered if it was really Lee s decision of publishing the book or not. But according to
Lee, [She s] alive and kicking and happy as hell with the reactions to Watchman. (

My Visit to Catholic Church in Hialeah
A very nice catholic church in the city of Hialeah, very nice residents and the likes.
Visiting Immaculate, I was very caught by the attitude of the worshippers, if you ever
been to Hialeah then you d understand that many people there can be a headache, yet
when I entered the church I was greeted by both pastors and worshippers there, a very
nice atmosphere indeed. Immaculate Conception practices was is Roman Catholic or
better to be described as the combination of the Latin and Eastern Catholic Churchwhich
embodies the world s largest single devout entity. Basic fundamental beliefs of Roman
Catholic include the belief that Jesusof Nazareth is the son of God(similar to christianity),
God is the embodiment of the Holy Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, and God the
Holy Spirit) and the Bible is the one true word of God. As I roamed around the halls of
the church I was confronted by Deacon Manuel Alfonso and he asked me what I was
doing at the church. I explained to him was I doing and I started to ask him some
questions about the church, my first question to him was What is your strongest belief
when it comes to your religion? , he replied with my strongest belief is that God is the
word and god is the only truth, the holy spirit lives in every single one of his children. I
understood that a major belief was that God represents three beings, I later on researched
it and found that the direct quote that explains this belief within the bible, Goe ye

The Neoclassical School s Pro Market Position
Capitalists self interest of profit is in conflict with workers self interest of welfare, as
capitalists drive for profit has negative repercussions for labour welfare. The
Neoclassical school asserts that markets are able to reconcile this competing self
interest, as rational economic actors pursuit of their own self interest within markets is
said to result in a mutually beneficial outcome. However, the Marxian school concedes
that this idea is redundant, as labour is still exploited by capital despite this apparently
mediatory market mechanism (which focuses only on the exchange of commodities).

Both agree that capitalists universal goal (Stillwell 2012:173) is the maximisation of
profit, and that this self interest will be prioritised above other interests. Although, the
Neoclassical school does not consider that capitalists prioritisation of profit will have an
adverse impact on other economic actors, as it contends that the market will inevitably
satisfy individual self interests (Chang 2014:182). This underlines the distinctive
positions of the Neoclassical school and the Marxian school: the former believes that the
market mechanism can create equitable outcomes for all actors, the latter reveals that the
function of the market is not in fact profitable for all economic agents.

The Neoclassical school maintains the position that markets can reconcile competing
interests between capital and labour due to the function of the invisible hand, a theory
stemming from the Classical school of economics, notably the economist Adam Smith
(Chang 2012:116). This theory posits that economic order can emerge as the unintended
consequence of the rational actions of many people, each propelled by their own
interests (Friedman 2011:120). Neoclassical economics affirms that this economic order
arises from the tendency of markets to equilibrate; that is, to naturally revert to a state
where the desires of all economic agents are satisfied through the mechanism of the
market (Stillwell 2012:158). This market mechanism is said to assure
Diet Analysis Research Paper
NUTRITION FOR TRAINING
An athlete must eat inappropriate diet to match their current exercise training program.
The goal of an optimal training diet is to (Burke and Read, 1989):
1.provide caloric and nutrient requirements
2.promote recovery from training sessions and physi¬ological adaptations
3.achieve and maintain optimal body composition and competition weight
4.try variations of precompetition and competition fuel and fluid intake to determine the
body s responses

Since athletes require significantly more calories then their seditary counterparts, it is
useful to estimate energy requirements for the athlete. Energy requirements can be
estimated though calculations for males and females for individuals between the ages of

John and Rawlins ride for several days until they reach the Rio Grande River. On a cliff
overlooking the river, they stop for a moment to admire the view and discuss the
significance of the river. They even question each other on when they want to cross the
river. Instead of crossing immediately they decide to rest the horses before crossing. This
is surely an attempt to think about why they are going to Mexico and to ensure themselves
that they are making the right decision. They get on their horses and make a dramatic
crossing of the river hooping and shouting in excitement as they cross. They have now
reached the point of no
Disability Theory And Feminist Analysis
This article discusses compares disability theory and feminist theory of women s bodies.
Garland Thomson states, ...to fully understand the social construction of women s bodies
we must also examine the impact of disability and social reactions to it (Garland
Thomson, 86). The idea for this article is to uncover the similarities about disability and
the womans body and to understand that both have been socially constructed to divide
and add levels of stereotypes to them. Looking at the aspect in which women s bodies
are being mistreated, shunned, and stereotyped, there is a correlation in the ways
disabilities are seen as well. The author breaks down the four domains of the feminist
theorythat can directly correlate to disability; representations, the body, identity, and
activism. Regarding representations, the article... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

I was intrigued as to how the author would correlate both topics. I never really realized
how much women s bodies are truly idealized. On the most basic level I understand
how women s bodies are being mistreated, but not to this extent. Then making the
parallels to disabled bodies, I am amazed. Looking at the Saartje Bartmann example, I
see a different stereotype. During this era, the African American woman s body has
been sexualized now. Bartmann was sexualized, but more so taunted than celebrated.
Now I see that women of all cultures are starting to follow the trend of being curvier to
appeal to men. Almost as if Saartje body image is coming back but in a more
acceptable today. While reading, I wondered how would this society be if people did
not cultural appropriate the black culture and turn the image of the Bartmann s body into
something to be adored? Also, what would happen if women and disabled bodies fight
the stereotypes placed on them by society? Would that change the images we see on
social media, and primetime
Botox Informative Speech

on the show Friends, Jenny McCarthy, Lindsay Lohan, Madonna, Kim Kardashian,
Simmon Cowell. What do all these names have in common? They are all celebrities
yes, but they are also all celebrities who have used Botox. If someone thinks of a
celebrity who has had botox I m sure that Joan Rivers would be one of the first people
to come to mind. Joan Rivers is of course one of the celebrities who is not afraid to tell
the world she has had many plastic surgery and Botox experiences. Her face is actually
frozen due to the amounts of times she has received these procedures. What is Botox?

Another common side affect that I also experienced was neck pain. They call this the
bobble head affect where it feels as if you cannot hold the weight of your head
anymore. This causes your neck to become very sore. 2. There are also some side
affects that are not so common but have been seen after the use of Botox. a. Botox can
cause double vision, loss of bladder control, and allergic reactions. b. Another side
affect could be a headache. Which seems very ironic. Yet, it still helps a chronic
migraine (Hendrick, Nichols, Allergan). Conclusion: In conclusion, Botox is a set of
injections that are used for many reasons. Botox is seen in both cosmetic treatments and
health treatments. Botox is proven to be affective in patients who suffer with chronic
migraines more than 15 days a month. It is still in research to see if Botox is affective
in patients who suffer with chronic migraines less than 15 days a month and patients
younger than 18. Botox also has some side affects that are included in this treatment. And
although one of the side affects may be a headache, Botox has helped many people who
have experienced these chronic
