Conflict Essays

Writing an essay on the topic of conflicts can be a challenging yet rewarding task. The difficulty lies
not only in the vastness of the subject matter but also in navigating the complexities inherent to
human interactions and societal issues. Conflict, whether interpersonal, societal, or global, is a
multifaceted phenomenon that demands a nuanced understanding.

One of the challenges is the need for extensive research to delve into the various dimensions of
conflicts. Analyzing historical conflicts, exploring their roots, and understanding the dynamics of
power struggles can be time-consuming. Moreover, synthesizing diverse perspectives and theories on
conflict resolution adds another layer of complexity. This requires a meticulous approach to ensure a
well-rounded and informed discussion.

Crafting a coherent and compelling argument is another hurdle. Balancing objectivity while
expressing a personal stance can be delicate, as the subject often involves deeply ingrained emotions
and differing viewpoints. Striking the right tone and maintaining a logical flow throughout the essay
can be challenging, especially when dealing with contentious issues.

Moreover, the challenge extends to addressing the broader implications of conflicts – their impact on
individuals, communities, and societies at large. The interconnected nature of conflicts requires an
in-depth analysis of their ripple effects, making it essential to connect the dots between various
events and circumstances.

On a more technical note, meeting the essay's structural requirements, adhering to citation styles, and
ensuring clarity in communication are additional aspects that contribute to the essay's level of
difficulty.

In conclusion, tackling a conflict essay requires a combination of research, critical thinking, and
effective communication skills. It demands a thorough exploration of the complexities surrounding
conflicts and the ability to present a nuanced and well-supported argument. Despite the challenges,
the process of writing such an essay can foster a deeper understanding of the dynamics at play in
human relationships and societal structures.

(Hubbard,Ben.2017 )The United Nation served few purposes from the beginning of their
existence, focusing on the strategy and tactics of the ongoing World War II. President
Franklin Delano Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill signed a

Representatives of 50 nations met in San Francisco in April through June 1945 to
complete the Charter of the United Nations.

(Messerli,Joe. 2017) The Roosevelt Administration strove at their best and strongest
ability to avoid the mistakes Woodrow Wilson made in the failure of the League of
Nations and as well as selling the League of Nations to the Senate of the United States Of
America. This oddly sought bicameral support from the Republican Party ( Roosevelt s
Administration was purely Democrat ) and the Republican Party endorsed the United
States participation in a postwar international organization, in which Congress
overwhelmingly endorsed participation, with a 77% approval rate from Congress itself.

Roosevelt as well sought to convince the public that an international organization was
needed and it would be the best interest to prevent future conflicts in the future. The
Senate approved the UN Charter on July 28, 1945, by a vote of 89 to 2. The United
Nations came into existence on October 24,1945, after 29 Nations had ratified the Charter.

The United Nations started on a steep downward trajectory from the high expectations
that surrounded it at its birth. The global security organization envisaged in the Charter
of the United Nations, based on a perpetuation of the victorious alliance against Nazi
Germany, was stillborn because of the rapidly developing rift between the Soviet Union
and its Western allies. The

Disadvantages Of The Middleman Economy
Michael Munger, the director of the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Duke
University, constructs two fundamental arguments discussing the Middleman Economy
and the Sharing Economy. However, to understand Munger s arguments we must first
define transactions costs. Transactions costs are compromised of the three main
components: triangulation, transfer and trust. Triangulation is the process of connecting
the seller and the buyer which can be difficult due to language or geographical barriers.
Transfer is establishing a payment process which is both immediate and invisible similar
to Uber s process. Finally, trust is simply the assurance of honesty and performance of the
contract between the two individuals. Munger s argument... Show more content on

Firms that operate in the Middleman Economy will produce an app or software that
lowers the transactions costs for individuals A and B allowing for the exchange to
occur and increasing overall consumer satisfaction. However, the Middleman Economy
isn t beneficial for everyone, which Munger recognizes. Munger provides two examples
to demonstrate some of the negative impacts of the Middleman economy. The Sony
Walkman which was introduced in 1979 allowed individuals for the first time to be
mobile while listening to their favorite hits. The Walkman was the most popular device
for individuals to listen to music and sold over 300 million units during its lifespan.
However, when Apple released the iPod in 2001, sales of the Sony Walkman plummeted
and never recovered. The competitive advantage that the iPod held over the Walkman is
that it reduced transactions costs for its consumers by eliminating the need to travel to
stores to purchase cassettes. Because iPod users were able to purchase their music
directly from the comfort of their home it was able to surpass the Walkman in total sales
with 390 million units sold. While the introduction of the iPod transformed the way
consumers interacted with music and increased consumer satisfaction, it devastated the
Sony Walkman and made cassettes practically obsolete. This reflects Marc Andreessen s
sentiment that software is
Research Paper On Adenoviruses
There are over 100 types of adenoviruses [1]. Adenovirus can infect many different
organisms and are divided into four genera: Aviadenovirus (birds), Mastadenovirus
(mammals), Ichtadenovirus (fish), Siadenovirus and Atadenovirus (other vertebrates) [2].
Adenovirus was discovered in 1953 and was determined to be the causative agent for
respiratory illness [3]. The name adenovirus was named after isolation from adenoid
tissue in the 1950s [4]. Human Mastadenoviruses are grouped genetically by species A
through G [5] based on a number of factors to include humagglutination, genetic makeup,
and transformation properties [6].There are about 60 serotypes of human adenoviruses
that vary in their size that cause infection of the eyes, respiratory tract, and
gastrointestinal tract [5]. The... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A small number of adult civilians were affected by adenovirus, but more importantly
children seemed to be affected worse than adults [3]. About 5% of acute respiratory
infections occur in children 0 5 years old [11]. Younger children are most affected by
types 1, 2, 3, and 5 causing tonsillopharyngitis [12]. Immunocompromised individuals
are more affected by adenovirus symptoms with a 53% fatality rate [12]. Humans
usually harbor species C more commonly than the other species and they can become
latent in the adenoid and tonsil derived lymphocytes [15]. Adenovirus serotypes 1, 2,
3, 5, and 7 have been sampled from children with acute respiratory tract infections.
Adenovirus 3 and adenovirus 7 were identified in Taiwan as major types after 20 years
of surveillance. Type 3 and 7 have also been reported to be the main cause of
pneumonia from 1962 to 1988. Additionally, these two types are also responsible for
pneumonia cases in Beijing, China. During 2006 and 2009, human adenovirus was
responsible for 78.38% of adenovirus cases
