Essay On Classical Music

Writing an essay on the topic of classical music can be both fascinating and challenging. On one
hand, classical music boasts a rich history, diverse repertoire, and profound cultural significance,
providing ample material for exploration and analysis. On the other hand, delving into this vast
subject requires a deep understanding of musical theory, historical context, and the ability to
articulate complex ideas in a clear and coherent manner.

Crafting an insightful essay on classical music demands meticulous research, thoughtful reflection,
and the ability to convey passion for the subject matter. From discussing the evolution of musical
forms and the contributions of renowned composers to analyzing the intricacies of specific
compositions and performances, there are numerous avenues to explore within this genre. However,
navigating through the plethora of information available and synthesizing it into a cohesive argument
can be daunting.

Moreover, writing about classical music requires more than just a technical understanding of musical
concepts; it entails capturing the emotive essence of the music and its profound impact on listeners
across different eras and cultures. Effectively conveying these nuances through words alone presents
a unique challenge for writers.

In essence, while the topic of classical music offers boundless opportunities for intellectual
exploration and creative expression, it also demands a high level of expertise, dedication, and
eloquence to do it justice.

The Forbidden City
Introduction
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the mid Ming Dynasty to the
end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, and now houses the
Palace Museum. It was built from 1406 to 1420 by the third Ming emperor Yongle, who
upon usurping the throne, determined to move his capital north from Nanjing to Beijing.
In 1911 the Qing dynasty fell to the republican revolutionaries. The last emperor, Puyi溥
儀, continued to live in the palace after his abdication until he was expelled in 1924.
Twenty four emperors lived and ruled from this palace during this 500 year span. The

These were laid out precisely in accordance with a code of architectural hierarchy, which
designated specific features to reflect the paramount authority and status of the emperor.
No ordinary mortal would have been allowed or even dared to come within close
proximity of these buildings.[2]

The Last Owner Puyi溥儀 After the republican revolution, this Palace as a whole would
have been sequestered by the Nationalist government were it not for the Articles of
Favorable Treatment of the Qing House 清室優待條件which allowed Puyi 溥儀to live
on in the Inner Court after his abdication. Meanwhile, all of the imperial treasures from
palaces in Rehe (today s Chengde承德) and Mukden (today s Shenyang沈陽) were
moved to the Forbidden City for public display in History Museum established at the
Outer Court in 1914.[3]
In 1924, during a coup launched by the warlord Feng Yuxiang馮玉祥, Puyi was expelled
from the Forbidden City and the management of the palace fell to the charge of a
committee set up to deal with the concerns of the deposed imperial family. The
committee began a sorting and counting of the imperial treasures. A year of intense
preparations later, its members arranged a grand ceremony on 10 October 1925 in front
of the Palace of Heavenly Purity乾清門to mark the inception of the Palace Museum.

Room Is An Independent Drama Feminist Film Essay
Women in media are underrepresented. They are overwhelmingly valued in film
based on their identification as a mother, wife, or lover. This is cause by media such as
internet and TV because they create comparisons by influencing in an individual s
viewpoints of society and setting ideals. Mother s roles in society are and have been
watched at as responsible for the development of their children. If these requirements
are not fit by mothers they are looked negatively upon society. Room is an independent
drama feminist film based on Emma Donoghue novel and is directed by Lenny
Abramson in 2015 that changes society s ideals of women as mothers. The film
narrates Ma s story of being captive in a room that only have skylight, four walls, a
bed, a tub, and a TV with poor signal with her son Jack, a child of rape. After seven
years, Jack being five, they are able to escape and Ma s readjustment to society story
begin. Through specific choices in cinematography, Abramson creates a feminist film that
contradict the ideals of mothers in film and plays with Ma s strength making her a strong
motherwhile being captive in room and transforming her into a weak mother when she
readjust to society. Strength, sacrifice and love is an embodiment of mother. She should
always know how much she is worth and shouldn t let anyone define who she is. A
mother s feminine power is very powerful and at the same time supportive. Till their last
breath, they will love their child unconditionally.

One Moment in Kyle s life that demonstrated his No Excuses attitude is when he first
moved to Georgia and said that there was no excuse for him to not make new friends.
Kyle was nervous that when he got to his new school people would treat him
differently because of his disability. He decided that he would first build up his own
self confidence. He let everyone know that he was just like them. He wanted the other
children to feel comfortable around him. He wanted them to treat him like they
treated everyone else. Finally after a little while, did make friends. People started
treated him how he wanted them to. They finally thought of him as the normal kid he
was. I believe God only gives us challenges that He knows we are capable of handling
(196). Another moment in the book that demonstrates his No Excuses attitude is when
he thought he should be on the football team. Kyle tried very hard when it came to
football. When he went to tryouts he did everything as hard as he could. Kyle
practiced harder than he ever had before. He never stopped working. He kept on trying
no matter got in his way. Kyle was excited when he made the football team. Even
though he was upset he didn t get to play as much as he wanted to, he still got to be on the
The Experience Of Frequent Relocations And Life Changes...
The experience of frequent relocations and life changes during my formative years
have molded me into a highly determined individual who sees the world from various
perspectives and thinks out of the box. Throughout my childhood, there was always a
quiet sense of not only excitement about restarting somewhere new, but also
anticipation of how things would be different. Which side is the right side of the road?
Metric system or British system? 110 Volt plug or 220 Volt plug? These thoughts that
seem to be miniscule opened my young mind in accepting, and later, finding new ways
of doing things. Meanwhile, the anticipation of a new school system that can be
surprisingly way more demanding (or not) than what I had been through always
motivated me to work hard and do the best I could academically. Hailing from my
native country Indonesia to the United States at the age of 15 in a quest for a better
quality education, I was determined to gain as much education and experiences while
striving to overcome any challenges that comes with it. In high school, not only I
overcame language and cultural barriers, but I pushed myself through the demanding
private school academics and graduated at the top of my class. My interests in business
and technology led my decision to attend Drexel University and pursue a Bachelor degree
in Business and Engineering. Through the Business and Engineering program, I realized
that while the worlds of technology and business integrates more than ever.

The vikings worked on starting to establish bases in Ireland instead of leaving Ireland
for the cold winters. This led to the Irish having to establish political ties to the
Ostmen. Soon the vikings were defeated by the Irish and pushed out of Ireland.
However, they soon managed to return which led to the second age of the vikings in
Ireland. The second viking age was even more permanent . However when they
returned, the vikings faced extreme resistance from the Irish. The Irish were not able
to defeat the vikings once and for all when they worked together to defeat the vikings
and fought the Battle of Clontarf . The Battle of Clontarf was the end of all vikings in
Ireland as they were totally defeated. The Irish also suffered great losses, but they
managed to recover eventually. The Irish viking age is very important and changed
