2.8.4.13 Photometer calibration

The photometer calibration procedure is completely controlled by the software.
It must be performed if the lamp has been replaced or the energy of the original
lamp became too low.

If the gain-stage of measurement or reference channel is higher than 10 it is

recommended to replace the halogen lamp. During Calibration the light path
must be free but protected against ambient light. A cuvette or Flow-cell must
be removed.

Filter: The wavelength of the interference filter

m-gain-stage: The measurement branch amplifier gain (0…12), factor 2 be-
tween the gains
m-gain-stage: The reference branch amplifier gain (0…12), factor 2 be-
tween the gains
m-bright: The measurement branch AD-converter digits for the bright
value
r-bright: The reference branch AD-converter digits for the bright val-
ue
m-dark: The measurement branch AD-converter digits for the dark
value
r-dark: The reference branch AD-converter digits for the dark value
r-bright-ref: Copy of the reference branch AD-converter digits for the
bright value used for monitoring of the lamp energy loss
