LATAR BELAKANG

Kompetensi cash management telah menjadi kata kunci bisnis saat ini.
Kesalahan mengelola kas khususnya dan instrumen likuiditas korporasi
umumnya telah menyebabkan banyak perusahaan tidak likuid lalu rugi dan
akhirnya bangkrut.
Realitas ini bukan hanya terjadi di Eropa, Amerika dan negara maju lain,
tetapi secara khusus telah dan akan terjadi di Indonesia. Kesulitan mengelola

KONSEP CASH DAN INSTRUMENT LIQUIDITY DAN
FUND FLOW
Kas (Cash) adalah aktiva lancar yang meliputi uang kertas/logam dan benda-benda lain
yang dapat digunakan sebagai media tukar/alat pembayaran yang sah dan dapat diambil
setiap saat.

Kas Kecil (Petty Cash), merupakan uang yang dicadangkan oleh perusahaan untuk
membayar pengeluaran yang sifatnya rutin tapi jumlah rupiahnya relatif kecil.

Fund flow is the net of all cash inflows and outflows in and out of various financial
assets. Fund flow is usually measured on a monthly or quarterly basis.

ANALISIS -CASH FLOW FROM OPERATION

Operating cash flow is a measure of the amount of cash generated by a


company's normal business operations. Operating cash flow indicates whether
a company is able to generate sufficient positive cash flow to maintain and
grow its operations, or it may require external financing for capital expansion.

Operating cash flows concentrate on cash inflows and outflows related to a


company's main business activities, such as selling and purchasing inventory,
providing services and paying salaries.

The statement of cash flows reveals how a company spends its money
(cash outflows) and where the money comes from (cash inflows).

We know that a company's profitability, as shown by its net income, is


an important investment evaluator.

CASH LARCENY

When someone commits cash larceny, the fraudster


steals cash from an organization after it has been
recorded on the organization’s books and records

SKIMMING

Skimming (fraud) is the theft of cash from a business


prior to its entry into the accounting system for that
company.

Although skimming is one of the smallest frauds that can


occur, they are also the most difficult to detect.

This is a fraud that attacks the payments system of a


business.

It is designed to cause the business to make a fraudulent

orders. So the control of purchases will be fully
monitored.
