I have been working as Visiting Faculty in the Department of English, School of Humanities and Management,
NIT Andhra Pradesh since June 2022. I successfully defended my PhD thesis on “Narratives of Memory,
Trauma and Resilience: Contextualising the Facets of Historical Revisionism and Identity Reconstruction in the
select Contemporary Irish Novels” in May 2022. I am interested in continuing my Memory Studies in South
Asian Literature for Post Doc under your Supervision.

I have published two research articles in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science and completed an
online course on South Asian Literature. My proposal focuses on the traumatic history of Tamil Eelam in Sri
Lanka and its portrayal in literature. The people of Tamil Eelam have undergone great agony in the name of
racial difference. The post-doc study will be an attempt to examine their loss of identity and place. I have seen
in your profile that your research areas are South Asian Literature and Memory Studies.

Hence, I humbly request you to go through my proposal and inform me if there is a vacancy for a post-doctoral
fellowship. It would be an excellent opportunity for me to do research under you.
