COLOR THEORY
COLOR is an ELEMENT OF ART with 3 properties:
41) Hue refers to the names of colors as they pertain to the color wheel.
2) Value refers o the degree of darkness or lightness of a color. Value helps us to see and understand a
two-dimensional work of art
3) Intensity is the brightness and purity of color. When color has not been mixed with another color, it
has maximum intensity. The original color loses distinctive identity once mixing is carried beyond a certain point.
