Being diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency at a young age was one of Messi's first
difficulties. His growth and stature were both impacted by this condition, which significantly
hampered his aspirations of playing professional football. However, Messi started a treatment
programme to address the deficiency with the support of his family and Barcelona. He overcame this
physical limitation to achieve extraordinary heights in the football world, proving that his
perseverance and determination paid off.

Messi's height was one of the biggest physical obstacles he had to overcome. He was frequently
thought to be too small, at just 5'7", to have much of an impact on the football pitch. His ability to
compete with taller, physically more intimidating opponents was questioned by his detractors. Messi,
