Just a random boy living in St.

Vincent
and the Grenadines.
Hey, I'm Jahiem Timothy, and I'm 14 years old. I'm from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a beautiful
place! My family includes my mom, dad, sister, and my big brother, who has a wife and a little one. I
want to talk about my own adventures, especially when I was younger and just started high school.
When I was a little younger, like 8 years old, I had long hair, was pretty good at school, and was kind
of scared of spooky stuff we call "jumbie." Now, let me tell you about two times things got pretty
wild. The first time, my nephew gave me a surprise push off a high wall for no reason. I landed on my
nose, forehead, and chin. Everything got better, but my nose got really big, and everyone started
calling me "avatar." A doctor said it could've been worse if I landed on the back of my head, like
serious bleeding in my brain. This happened when I was around 7-8 years old. The second close call
was at a cool lake near our volcano, La Soufriere. I didn't know the lake had deep parts. I wanted to
see how deep it was, but the water got up to my tummy, and suddenly I went under. I couldn't
breathe, and I swallowed some water. Scary, right? Just when I thought it was the end, my cousin
Zora saved the day! I said, “Zora, help!” and she pulled me out. I coughed up the water, and I was
okay. After that, my other cousin told everyone, and some family members got a bit mad. Zora's dad
even told her she shouldn't have saved me! Another family member, let's call him Dog, scolded me
like he was my dad. I felt so sad that I hid in a truck until my mom came. All of this happened when I
was between 7 and 10 years old, still going to primary school.
