About the Artist
June Digan is the artist behind the
whimsical illustrations featured in the
UB 2024 Digital Diary. She has served
as a member of the Jury for ADC Young
Guns 18 and the New York Festival’s
Bowery Awards in 2020. Aside from
being an illustrator, graphic designer
and painter, she is also a storyteller.
Through her art, she is able to evoke
emotions and set moods. In the
words of the young ones, her work
is definitely a “vibe.” The characters,
the landscapes and the settings are
just fairyland kind of endearing. And
whether her medium be watercolors,
gouache, acrylic or digital, she makes
sure to inject her inherent creativity.
