Application
RIF fans may be used for intake or exhaust
ven la on applica ons where noise level is
the primary selec on criteria or where
restricted space is available for fan moun ng.
Ideal for applica ons where fan is required
directly overhead the occupied space. The
Fan inlet and outlets are designed to be used
with air ducts of 100-315mm diameter.
Motor
RIF fans have a 2 pole external rotor motor
with backward curved impeller. Motors have
built-in overload protec on with automa c
restart. Low Maintenance self-lubrica ng ball
bearings are used for longer fan life.
Mounting
RIF fans are meant for moun ng with round
inlet and outlet ducts. The Fan has moun ng
brackets placed at the bo om for be er
stability and low noise opera ons, when used
in horizontal posi on. Fan may be mounted in
any other orienta on by using appropriate
supports (supplied by others).
Design
Fan casing is made of galvanized steel sheet,
internally lined with high grade acous c egg-
crate insula on. Designed for Round Inlet and
Outlet with moun ng grooves. The Casing
has a standard provision for an op onal slide-
in replaceable Pre-filter, placed near the air
inlet.
Speed Control MIN MAX
Air Quan ty and Sound levels can be easily
calibrated or modified using the Speed
Regulator mounted on the fan casing, as a
standard feature.
RIF-MB models have bo om loading filter
arrangement. (Filter sold separately)
RIF-MS models have side loading filter
arrangement. (Filter sold separately)
