They also ‘Suppress low-priority consequential alarms that might obscure the true cause of alarm. Overview of Security Function ‘The operator can define the following operation and monitoring function attributes: + User Name ‘An operation history is recorded for each user. + User Group ‘This is used to specify the range of operation and menitoting functions that can be performed, © User Permission ‘This is used to restrict the range of operation and monitoring functions that can be performed ‘When the user logs on, the corresponding user group and user permission are checked, which determines the range of operation and monitoring functions and permissions, User Name This is a user-specific user name that uniquely determines who the operator is, Historical (operation) logging and the ike will include this user name. Password is defined per operator station basis. The operation and monitoring functions manage password separate from the windows security function, Thus, the operator station user name does not agree with the windows log on user name, Users Group ‘The users group, which the user belongs, to determine the range of operation and monitoring functions that ‘can be performed. The user group determines which control station can be monitored, which control st can be operated, and which windows can be displayed. Specifying corresponding station name and drawings ‘ean restrict the items, which can be monitored and operated. Certain group in certain plant also can be specified Usor Permission ‘Auser group can be subdivided into several levels of user permission: + Ordinary operator + Senior operator = Engineering/Maintenance personnel The default is three such levels: $1, $2 and S3 per user group ‘The default user permission for these three levels as shown bellow. Permission Level ‘Monitoring ‘Operation: Engineering/viaintenance [st 7 Enable Disable 82, Enable ~[Bisable 3 Enable Enable Enable ‘Security on Per Tag Basis ‘The importance of the corresponding tag for each tag can be specified, The tag mark, the need fer confirmation when changing SV, MV or alarm setting, and the type of alarm and acknowledgement can be set, depending on the tag importance. For important tags, it requires confirmation when entering data to prevent error. Providing Security by Attaching Operation Mark ‘The operation of function block can be temporarily disabled. For field instruments like transmitters and valves that have falled or under m: can be attached as a caution mark or to inhibit operation fenance operation mark "box" YOKOGAWA @ YOKOGAWA INDONESIA Page: 9 PT.
