Objectives

General:
To create sustainable partnership among academe, non-government and
government institutions through strong research and development of abundant
high value agricultural products in the study area.
Specific:
Specifically, the study aims to develop the following.
1. To develop and innovate the abundant agri-food commodities in the
community such as cassava, cacao, cabbage outer coverings, coconut
and other identified high value agri products;
2. To develop the research capabilities of the identified researchers of
LMPC-Smart Food Value Chain Facility, academe like CTU Danao,
Tabogon and Tuburan Campuses through strong R&D from high value
agricultural crops;
3. To develop the cassava-based ice cream cone, cacao nibs-enhanced
cookie, cabbage powder-fortified chips, vegetable mixed tuna hash,
cabbage fortified breadfruit instant noodles and seasonings from fish
processing wastes;

4. To enhance the research and development skills of the CTU faculty
members with the graduate students of the involved campuses of Cebu
Technological University;
