Write an essay about the advantages and disadvantages of two solutions to
overpopulation in 220-270 words.

Nowadays, the number of people is becoming increasingly crowded. It leads to

overpopulation. Many scientific studies show that if the population is over 9 billion in a
year, the earth’s resources will not be enough for people. Therefore, the government
in China has two solutions to prevent overpopulation.
Overpopulation has negative effects on economy, so politicians in China have made
laws that limit the amount of birth rate. If parents have two children, they have to pay
taxes for the second child. Thanks to child taxes, China collects a lot of money in the
country’s treasury. In addition, many people in china be aware of the laws, so they
have only one child. However, the laws have some disadvantages for poor people.
They do not have enough money to pay taxes, so if they have two children, they have
to stay in prison for almost two years.
Other solution to overpopulation is family planning centres. If they want to have a
child, they will come to the centres. In the family planning centres, there are many
lectures about having a child. Moreover, they have to pass some health tests. Thanks
to family planning centres, people are becoming conscious about having a child. On
the other hand, It is so expensive. The government provide money to support for poor
family, whereas it is not enough. The government does not want to increase the
amount of support money for family planning centres.
To conclude, overpopulation is a serious problem for humanity. Two solutions have
advantages as well as disadvantages. Every country should improve some methods to
prevent overpopulation like China.
