1. A circular wire of radius 3 cm is cut and bent so as to lie along the circumference of a hoop whose radius is
48 cm. Find the angle in degrees which is subtended at the centre of hoop.
2. Find the ratio in which the line segment joining the points (4, 8, 10) and (6, 10, – 8) is divided by the YZ-
plane.
3. Find the equation of the set of the points P such that its distances from the points A (3, 4, –5) and B (– 2, 1,
4) are equal.
4. The centroid of a triangle ABC is at the point (1, 1, 1). If the coordinates of A and B are
(3, –5, 7) and (–1, 7, – 6), respectively, find the coordinates of the point C.
5. Three vertices of a parallelogram ABCD are A(3, – 1, 2), B (1, 2, – 4) and C (– 1, 1, 2). Find the
coordinates of the fourth vertex.
6. A die is rolled. Let E be the event “die shows 4” and F be the event “die shows even number”. Are E and F
mutually exclusive?
