The effectiveness of a training program based on theory of
mind in developing the use of selective attention among
children with learning difficulties in the city of Riyadh

Abstract:
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between
the development of theory of mind in children (6 years) and its
relationship to selective attention, visual and auditory. The study
sample consisted of (40) children from the city of Riyadh, and
the researcher developed a program based on the tasks of
Theory of Mind, and another instrument that measures selective
audio-visual attention, and their validity and reliability were
verified. After completing the application of the program, and
analyzing the results, it was found that there was a statistically
significant effect of the training program based on the theory of
mind in developing the use of audio-visual selective attention
among children with learning difficulties in the city of Riyadh.
