Installation Guide

First, check all points and if all is fulfilled please go forward in the description!

 Do you’ve administrative rights for your system?

It can’t be installed on your system without these rights!

 Do you’ve at least Microsoft Office 2007 installed on your computer?

The software AlphaSYS® won’t run correctly without this!

 Do you’ve a license file for customizing the software AlphaSYS®?

Don‘t worry, you can get one by using our contact table:

 Uninstall all previous versions of AlphaSYS® and after that delete the whole
folder AlphaSYS from your hard disc drive before you go forward to page 2!

Installation step by step

1. Download the latest AlphaSYS® version by clicking on the download link below.

Download has finished!

2. Run the downloaded file AlphaSYS_7.1.6.exe and follow the displayed

instructions.

Installation has completed!

3. Start the AlphaSYS® and you’ll get a window with following message:

“You have called the AlphaSYS®-Updater. Therefor we close AlphaSYS® and start
the AlphaSYS®-Updater. Follow the instructions of the update and restart after
completion of the customizations AlphaSYS®.”

Click OK and the AlphaSYS_Updater will open.

There click on button Customize Database and chose your license file custdata.lic
and accept this by clicking on button Open or clicking twice with left mouse
button.

AlphaSYS_Updater window shows a green background!

4. Now, you can close the AlphaSYS_Updater and have a lot of success with the
newest version of AlphaSYS®.
