GREECE AD 1.6.29-LGTG-VFR
TANAGRA MTMA VFR ROUTES
1. Aircraft (including Helicopters) flying under VFR within TANAGRA MTMA, should follow the VFR routes and altitudes as depicted in this chart unless VFR criteria require otherwise or a special
authorization is obtained from the appropriate ATC unit.
2. When necessary to deviate from the specified routes and altitudes an ATC clearance should be obtained from TANAGRA Approach Control or Tower (Freq. 120.250 MHz or 122.100MHz or 121.500
MHz or 257.80 MHz or 362.30 MHz) before TANAGRA MTMA or immediately after departing airport.
3. To meet special traffic requirements the appropriate ATC Unit may assign different VFR routes or altitudes.
4. All aircraft entering and flying TANAGRA MTMA VFR routes, depicted on this chart, should first establish and maintain continuously two-way radio communication with TANAGRA Approach or Tower.
All aircraft should also report over all compulsory reporting points and fly using QNH given by the appropriate ATC unit (TANAGRA Approach / Tower).
5 Cancellation of IFR flight plan within TANAGRA MTMA is subject to ATC approval and after cancellation the VFR routes and altitudes should also be followed.
6. To assist TANAGRA Tower to arrange landing sequence of VFR and IFR arrivals and facilitate the aerodrome traffic, four (4) visual holding patterns have been established over ILIKIS, CHALKIS,
ABLONAS and LIMNIS points, at which all VFR traffic destined to TANAGRA airport or intended to cross the extensions of the instrument approach and departure procedures (RWY 28C / 10C), should
hold until receiving an ATC clearance by TANAGRA Approach Control.
8 It is reminded that flying under VFR, the responsibility to avoid collision with other aircraft, provide terrain clearance and avoid Restricted Airspace rests with the pilot.
