Paradise lost
A poem by John Milton.Hell is for the fallen angels that rebelded
against God and got cast out of heaven.

Some elements of how is hell represented in paradise lost.

1. Physical descriptions : Milton describes Hell as a vast, chaotic,
and fiery pit. It is a place of darkness and extreme heat, where
flames and smoke billow, and the air is filled with noxious
fumes
2. Isolation and despair: The fallen angels in Hell are isolated and
separated from God's grace and the beauty of Heaven.
3. Hierarchy and chaos: Hell is not just a place of punishment
but also a realm with its own hierarchy and politics. Satan,
Beelzebub, and other fallen angels engage in debates and
discussions, displaying their intellectual abilities despite their
