Day 1: Monday Date: 23 August 2021

Observations:
I reached the school sharp at 7:15am before the school timing. I observed that the school headmaster
stood in the school main gate to welcome his students. On main gate peon was checking the temperature
of students with machine. After entering in the school each student was using the sanitizer that was put
on the table in front of gate. The bell rang for students to go in classrooms. There was no assembly as
pandemic was at its peak. Each class started with the recitation of Holy Quran with in the classroom as it
was not allowed to students to gather at one place even for assembly. After attendance, the faculty also
moved to their classrooms. It was my first day; my mentor was the school headmaster. She took me in
the 8th class. The students welcome me with whole heartily. It was one of pleasurable moment for me.
The classroom was very colorful and airy. My mentor told me about room decoration. I observed all
charts and models in the classroom. I spent all day with students and enjoyed all the task done by class. I
also participate in class activities.
Reflections:
I found much disciplined school environment. I also like the teacher and students health concerns related
to pandemic as everyone was with mask and following the SOPs. Student's arrangement in the classes
were at distance. I like the creativity of students of making charts and models. Students are concerned
about their class decoration and cleanliness. I found headmaster was quite humble and soft spoken and
much concerned about their students and staff health.

Day 2: Tuesday Date: 24 August 2021

Observations:
It was my second day; I reached the school at 7:15am before the school timing. The bell rang for the day on
time. Classroom activates started after recitation of Holy Quran. Once again, my mentor took me to the same
class that was 8th class. I feel that all the students were more familiar and friendly with me than yesterday.
My mentor started dealing with his students and I was sitting to keenly observe all the pros and cons of his
teaching methodology with students and classroom and its environment too. I observed that all the students
were so excited with his teacher Tanzeela. Room was very colorful. I observed that every student was learning
by activity method. Students were very excited while doing activities. Group activates were going on and
students were learning and enjoying side by side. It was assumed to witness that my mentor act equally childish
while dealing with students. I spent all the time with students and enjoyed all the tasks.
Reflection
As observing activity very keenly and thinking that I shall teach in the same way in the future as my mentor
is teaching. I feel that teaching learning process should not be boring. It must be interesting for both teacher
and students. I like the excitement of students the most.

Day 03: Wednesday Date: 25 August 2021

Observations:
I reached the school sharp at 7:15am before the bell rang. As I reached early so I observed the arrival of
students and welcome by the headmaster. The bell rang for students to go in classrooms. There was well
disciplined environment in the school. Most of the students and teachers were coming in time or before time.
As usual after the bell rang students started moving to their classes and faculty also moved to their concerned
classes. I moved to the grade 8th classroom with my mentor. Tanzeela starts teaching the Science subject to
class 8th.His teaching methodology was very perfect and he is also taking assessment of his teaching by asking
the questions to the class students. Here I am keen to observe all the merits and de-merits of his teaching
layout and the classroom environment. I observed that in beginning he was active but after few minutes she
become passive and make the students active. She made the students participants in different groups and
individual activities. After the completion of lesson, she assessed his class through questions and gave them
home assignments. She was appreciating each student and motivating his class to think and ask questions.
Reflections:
I was taking deep interest in learning and teaching methodologies. I was thinking how beautifully teacher is
guiding to their students. Teacher motivation and appreciation is much more important for students to do
something better in life or to excel in life. Being science teacher it is very important that teacher encourage
the students to think, observe, inquire, ask and discuss the problems.

Day 04: Thursday Date: 26 August 2021

Observations:
I reached the school as early as possible before the school timing. As I reached early, so I observed the arrival
of students and teachers in the school. School started after ringing the school bell at 7:30am. Students started
moving to their studies and all the faculty members also moved to their concerned classes. As I and my mentor
were discussing about the schedule of current day. We were informed that monitoring person (MEA) has
arrived in the school. My mentor explored me that there is a monthly visit of MEA (mentor evaluation
assistant). In his visit he will monitor the attendance of the students and teachers, FTF account, wash club,
NSB( Non Salary Budget) account and cleanliness of the school. After monitoring all things, he will conduct
LND (Literacy Numeracy Drive ) test of grade 3 in primary schools my mentor directed me to assist the MEA
and observe the procedure of school monitoring. Then I was introducing to the MEA. I keenly observed all
the monitoring procedure. Head is responsible for all the things. LND conducted of three subjects English,
Urdu and math. It was a special experience for me. The school records are also monitored by him
Reflections:
As today there was a visit of MEA, so I found a chance to see how schools are monitored by any external
person. It was a new experience for me. I also gone through the records of the schools. School records were
much complex for me to understand. I talked to my mentor to help me to understand the different school
records and the procedure to maintain these records.

Day 05: Friday Date: 27 August 2021

Observations:
I reached the school before school timing. It was my fifth day at school and I was well aware and familiar
with school activities. My mentor told me that about Bazm- e- adab after first period. It was the routine of
each Friday. Then we go to Grade 7th where Sadia Naz was teaching Math. I observed that she has strong grip
on her subject and teaching method was efficient too due to her effective teaching. Everyone so excited during
the lesson. After the class all the students were called for Bazm-e-Adab in the ground. Beautiful conference
was Friday. There was a well-disciplined Bazm-e-Adab, all SOPs were followed there. It began started with
recitation verses of the Holy Quran. After this the participants come on the stage for NAAT. Darood Sharif
was read by all. It was a great conference. Stage was decorated with different flowers. All the participants
were so confident. At the end of the Bazm-e-Adab Rabia come on the stage for NAAT. She had a beautiful
voice. I became a fan of him. After Naat, He appreciated all the participants and announced to celebrate
upcoming event of 6th September to give tribute to our brave soldiers. Miss Ayesha Mahmood come on stage
for Dua and the day was ended.
Reflections:
I took good interest in Islamic values, ethics, and morality. Student's performance was much disciplined and
students were well trained to take such conferences with silence and respect. Teachers interaction with their
class students was very polite and motivating. Both teacher students hard work made this event beautiful.

Day 06: Saturday Date: 28 August 2021

Observations:
I reached at the school before at 8:00am. It was very late because my relative had died last night. When I
reached at school, all the students and faculty members had moved to their classes. I observed that everyone
has busy in his working, my mentor was waiting for me because I already told him about my reason. My
mentor, school head and other teachers prey for my relative. I thanked to all of them. My mentor and I discuss
the current day schedule, then we move to 8th class. When we entered in the class we entered in the class we
warmly welcomed by the students. Miss. Rizwana was teaching Urdu to class 8th. I observed that she was
teaching very effectively. I observed that his teaching methodology was good. She had good grip on the
subject. But his classroom management quality was not efficient because in the back chair all of them was not
getting interest in the lesson. Mr. Rizwana was only focusing on delivering words, but he should take steps to
control his students. Overall interaction of the students was good. Teacher was not much concerned about
student's questions. He was teaching grammar to the students. At the end of the lesson, he gave homework to
the students.
Reflections:
Teacher should be much concerned about their student's questions. Urdu is our national language it must be
taught with high Spirit and enthusiasm. Teacher have to use some interesting methodologies to make this
subject interesting for the students. In future if I shall get a chance to teach Urdu, I will do my level best to
deliver my lesson effectively.

Day 07: Monday Date: 30 August 2021

Observations:
I reached the school as early as possible and go in the staff room. Teachers were preparing their lesson plans
of their classes. Healthy discussion was going on among the teachers side by side that how student assessment
can be improved. Everyone was sharing her view point as per her experience. I also observed the arrival of
students and teachers in the school. The bell rang for students to go in classrooms. All the students were in
lines and moving towards their classrooms in a disciplined manner. Teachers also moved to their classes for
the current day's goal. My mentor told me about the school council members will come here. Because today
is meeting with them in school with our teachers. We were just discussing all this all the members entered in
the school main gate. School head and senior teacher named Miss Alisha Nawaz welcomed them and they sat
in office. My mentor introduced me with all teachers. We sat beside them to observe them. They started their
discussion. I observed that Miss Alisha Nawaz explored all the past expenses and income before them and
told them about the new arrival installment of fund. I more observed they discussed future plans. After the
meeting, we went to the 7th class where Miss Sambal was teaching Islamic study. I observed his teaching
methods and classroom management strategy those were so efficient. Today I learn more things regarding the
school management. He was teaching nicely about five pillars of Islam.
Reflections:
As today there has a meeting of the school council members with Head teacher, I was directed and insisted to
observe the minutes of and decisions done in meeting. I learned note taking techniques. I was feeling myself
more confident in front of school staff as I was observing the same school from past six days. I also like the
way of teaching of Miss Sumbal. She was looking very professional. Her voice was very clear and loud that
every student was paying attention on what she was saying.

Day 08: Tuesday Date: 31 August 2021

Observations:
I reached the school at 7:10 before starting school. It was a rainy day observed that there was an excellent
cloudy and beautiful environment. All the students and teachers were coming in very happy mood. The school
bell was ringing for a beautiful day. All the students go in classes by creating a well-disciplined environment.
I moved to grade 7th class with a class teacher of that grade. All the students welcomed us warmly. I came in
this class more than one time, so students were also directed to cooperate with me. Miss.Sumbal started
teaching her subject Islamic study and I am here to keen observe the pros and cons of his teaching environment
and methodology. I observed that he had a well command on his subject matter. He had an extraordinary and
valuable approaches to control his classroom. All the students were participating in learning.
Reflections:
I found Miss. Sumbal a hardworking teacher. He was well prepared for the lesson and asking short questions
to the students and giving tips about exams. His class control was too good. There was pin drop silence in the
class when he was talking. He said, rain is a blessing of here to keen observe the pros and cons of hi teaching
environment and methodology. I observed that he had a well command on his subject matter. He had an
extraordinary and valuable approaches to control his classroom. All the students were participating in learning.

Day 09: Wednesday Date: 01 September 2021

Observations:
I reached the school as early as possible before the school timing. I reached early so I observed the arrival of
students and teachers. As usual headmaster or teachers were on the gate to welcome them. The bell rang for
going in the classrooms. There was a well-disciplined environment. All the faculty were present too in the
classes. The classes started with Tilawat and followed by Naat Sharif and national anthem in the classroom.
There was a peaceful environment. Everything was going on smoothly but unfortunately and suddenly a
student got fainted and fell down in the classroom. School head was on round with me. He ran towards that
classroom as he listened unpleasant voices. He said to give him first aid box and he himself gave him first aid,
even though it was not a serious condition for student. He asked him for rest. I moved to grade 8th with my
mentor where Miss. Naila was teaching the English subject. I sat in the backside of the classroom to observe
the pros and cons of his teaching methodology and classroom environment, there was 35 students with full of
uniform. She made his students to participate in group activities. By using this approach, he created a well-
disciplined environment for learning. She made 100 % participation of the class. It was a good opportunity
for me to observe the class of such an experienced and talented teacher.
Reflections:
I became so nervous when I listened painful voices and saw a student who was unconscious on the floor of
the classroom. My mentor handled the situation very nicely. I learned how to manage this type of situations
and it is the time when you have to do actions according to situation. To become panic and start screaming
spoils situations

Day 10: Thursday Date: 02 September 2021

Observations:
I reached at school as possible today I have to achieve my goal that I have planned. I want to ask few tips from
my mentor that how class control could be better and how to use black board effectively for teaching
mathematics. She answered my questions very nicely and we have a long discussion on these two questions.
She cleared my mind regarding to use of black board and class control. She gave me some examples of her
past as well. I observed a mathematics class after that. I observed how effectively he is using blackboard. I
relate my mentor discussion with the teacher actions as well.
Reflections:
I have learned a lot from my mentor. She gave me some tips and tricks to handle class situations which were
very effective. Using blackboard for teaching mathematics is a very important skill that each teacher must
learn for teaching mathematics.

Day 11: Friday Date: 03 September 2021

Observations:
I reached at school at 7:20am before the school timing. As I reached early, I joined head to welcome the arrival
and for the observation of arrival the school bell ranging on time. As usual students and teachers created well-
disciplined environment during the classes. After this as I and my mentor were discussing about the day
schedule. We were informed AEO has arrived for the visit. My mentor told me that there is a monthly visit of
AEO in which he looks after the learning and other condition of the school. My mentor directed me to assist
the AEO and observe the procedure of school inspection. Then I was introduced the head is responsible for
the provision of all record is observed by me. After all the inspection of record AEO proceeds to the classroom
and asked different questions from the students and teachers. She shows his satisfaction. Overall condition of
the school in all the observation of inspection. I observed that all the school record like NSB (NON-SALARY
BUDGET) with their meeting of council members very keenly. Inspected and verified by the AEO. I learned
a lot of inspection tolls through AEO. A questioning and answering section was going on while AEO was
checking the records.
Reflections:
As today was a visit of AEO. I learned it was a monthly visit of AEO. I get a chance to see school records and
to learn from the discussion that was done between AEO and head of the school.

Day 12: Saturday Date: 04 September 2021

Observations:
I reached at school as early as possible before the school timing. The bell rang for the day and school Started
with a well-disciplined environment. After these students started moving toward their classes. I discussed
today schedule with my mentor. She asked me that now it's my turn to express my learning experience by
presenting a lecture in the class for next days, then we discussed the topic which I have to present in the class.
We are agreeing to present a topic of grade 8th Science in the class. After that I read the topic for an hour. I
requested my mentor to assist main making the good presentation. She guides me the SLOs and the activities
which I have to perform in the class to enhance our experience. Then he guides me how to interact with
students to make or ensure their 100% participation. After all discussion we both went to the classroom. After
the greeting Miss Tanzeela told the students that today we decided a topic on which Miss Ayesha Asghar will
present tomorrow as a model. I present a small topic of Science as on introduction and we decide the main
presentation for the next day.
Reflections:
It was a great achievement for me to teach in class and interact with students as a teacher. I was trying to talk
like the teachers I observed in past few days here in this school.

Day 13: Monday Date: 06 September 2021

Observations:
I reached the school sharp at 7:20am before ringing the bell. The bell rang for going in class. There was a
well-disciplined environment in the classes created by the students. As usual the school activates started. After
this we discussed the today schedule. The mentor asked me that am I ready for the presentation. I replied in
yes. Then we went to grade 8th classroom. When we were in the way I recall the whole topic and took guideline
from my mentor. When we entered in the class warmly welcomed by the class. My mentor went and sat at the
back side of the classroom. I was totally prepared and confident. I highlight my SLO'S on the white board.
After greeting the class, I confidently started my presentation on Science topic. When I was delivering my
words before the class my mentor was keenly witnessing and observing my presentation in written form. She
makes the noted of my presentation. She appreciated and admired me for my presentation that was excellent.
Reflections:
It was a great experience for me to present lesson. I was very happy as my mentor gave me very good remarks
on my presentation and appreciated me a lot.

Day 14: Tuesday Date: 07 September 2021

Observations:
I reached soon before school timing. The bell rang for the day. I was observed that there was the effective
environment in the classes. The class began with Tilawat and followed by NAAT Sharif and national anthem
within each classroom. I discussed our today schedule with my mentor. He told me that today is the last
working day of my teaching practice. Today we have to conduct a final lesson. For this he told me that I have
to give a presentation before the grade 8th all the teachers sat at the back side of the classroom. I started my
presentation I wrote my today's SLO's on the whiteboard. They observed me keenly and gave their remarks at
the end of the lesson. They heartily appreciated me and gave me remarks honestly. I was much happy because
they passed me in my presentation. Then we went to head office and they gave me a farewell good-bye praising
my skills with best wishes. I was very thankful to all for giving this opportunity to me.
Reflections:
I was very happy from the response of the teachers that they gave me on my presentation. I noted the remarks
on my presentation as well in order to improve my teaching in future. I was feeling myself much confident
before the students. I learned a lot from the teachers over there.
