MAT1511
MAT1512
MAT113Q
MAT103N

Those that will be held in Cape Town, Durban, Polokwane (Pietersburg), Pretoria and Mthatha (Umtata). A group
visit usually involves lectures given by one of your lecturers. You are most welcome to ask questions. Your lecturer
may also now and then ask you to solve a problem, give you time to solve it, and then work through the solution.

NB: To bene¿t from a group visit you must have made a start with your studies: the later the date of the group visit,
of course, the more work you should have done.

NB: Each group visit lasts two or three days. On each day different material will be covered, so you should try to
attend every day. But if you can’t attend every day you will still bene¿t from attending when you can.

The contact numbers for the Regional facilities are on. p. 16–18 in the brochure UNISA: CALENDAR PART 1 –
General Information and Rules.

Please read the sections of this tutorial letter which are relevant for you very carefully: note the dates, the times and
the venues. If you have any questions please write to, phone or e–mail to
