Introduction
UNDERSTANDING OURSELVES IN THE JOURNEY OF LIFE INVOLVES FIGURING
OUT WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE WANT, AND HOW TO USE OUR SKILLS. TAKING
THE TIME TO ASSESS OURSELVES FROM DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES GIVES A
WELL-ROUNDED VIEW. THIS PROCESS BECOMES MORE VALUABLE WHEN WE
IDENTIFY RECURRING THEMES ACROSS THESE ASSESSMENTS. EXPLORING
THESE THEMES AND THE SUPPORTING DATA DEEPENS SELF-UNDERSTANDING,
HELPING US APPROACH LIFE WITH CLARITY ABOUT OUR PRIORITIES, WHAT
MATTERS TO US, AND HOW TO INTEGRATE THESE INSIGHTS TO FIND
BALANCE WITH OUR PERSONALITY. THIS PRESENTATION IS ABOUT TEN
DIFFERENT THEMES I HAVE COME ACROSS IN DIFFERENT ASSESSMENTS.
Research Process and
Methods
For my research process and method, I
compiled a list of the different materials I wanted
to use for this analysis.
Then I separated them into different categories
by looking over them and identifying the main
ideas/themes behind the material.
Lastly, I assigned these to the different themes I
would be looking at and analyzing in this
presentation.
Motivation and Career Anchors Assessment- a tool designed to evaluate an
individual's core career motivators and values. It helps identify the factors that
drive professional satisfaction and fulfillment, offering insights into one's career
preferences and aspirations.
The Big 5 Assessment- psychological assessment that provides a comprehensive
understanding of an individual's personality and behavior.
Three Questions (yellowdig)- Assignment where we answered 3 questions, the
two I focused on were, what brings me joy, and what am I good at.
Data Unit 2 Book Project- Assignment I did on Elizabeth Gilbert's "Big Magic: Creative
Living Beyond Fear"
Sources
Army Commendation Medal- an award given to Army members that recognizes
exemplary conduct, performance, and dedication beyond the call of duty,
contributing significantly to the mission's success, which I received during my tour
in Turkey.
Honor Graduate Award (Airstreams Renewables)- a commendation presented
to individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication, skill, and proficiency in
renewable energy education and training, which I received while taking a
Continuing Education class.
DISC Personality Test (DISC) - This assessment requires users to select two answers
from a series of statement clusters, one which they find most accurate to their
personality and one which they believe is least accurate as to their personality.
Each statement has a corresponding value which generates a score for the user
in four categories: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance.
