1. Take note of the 2021 O-Level syllabus

2. Practice questions in past years’ papers and ask the teacher to mark for
you

3. Ask the teacher/ seniors if you have any questions

4. For every short stories, divide your notebook into 2 columns: 1 for
evidence with page number, 1 for explanation

5. Carry out intensive reading for every short stories/ poems

6. Try to form a link between the stories

7. Identify the main themes in Literature (refer to exercise book)

8. Make your own questions based on the themes and practice writing/
brainstorming (just take down all your ideas without perfecting your
piece of writing)

9. Find articles from critics about the stories/ poems (reference for different
perspectives)

10.Read a lot of books to improve your understanding of Literature texts

11.You can even translate an English Lit text to Vietnamese or write your
own story/ poem (creative writing)

12.Ams Writers’ Guild

13.Take note of different writing techniques (metaphor, similies…)

14.Use WSC Literature analysis skill
