GETTING THE BEST FROM YOUR HOLIDAY

Before starting to take the first sunbaths, you have to hydrate the skin well
to get the most uniform and lasting tan.

Adapt the sunscreen to your skin type and the intensity of the sun. The first
days it is recommended to use a HIGHER protectION factor to avoid burns.

Renew the application of the sunscreen every two hours, and after each bath.
The protector loses EFFECTIVENESS after bathing. The sand or water reflects
the sun's rays with great intensity.

Avoid sun exposure from 11am to 4pm because those hours coincide with the
most intense and most dangerous solar intensity.

It is important to apply a treatment after sun, to moisturize and repair the skin.

Avoid long exposures to the sun, using protective creams and drinking liquids
regularly.

To stay cool, after a shower or bath, let the water evaporate on the skin without
drying it.

When entering the beach, look at the posters that are PLACED at the
entrances of each beach or in the towers of the lifeguards.

The posters inform ABOUT the characteristics, risks and precautions on the
beaches, the aid or rescue posts, the lifeguard schedules, emergency
telephones.

Observe the color of the flag that flies in them. Pay attention to the flags:
Green: good - Yellow: caution - Red: dangerous.

Always respect the warnings of the lifeguards.

Do not bring animals to the beach, and if you take them, have them controlled.

Get away from the areas where water sports are practiced.

Extend all precautions with children.

Use the bins. Do not throw papers or leave waste.

Do not walk barefoot on the rocks, there is danger of cuts and slips.

Avoid currents and DO not bathe in bad weather.

Do not get too far from the coast. Practice swimming without leaving the shore.
Do not eat in abundance before swimming.

Do not enter the water suddenly. It should be done little by little, to accustom
the skin to the new temperature. First you must wet your feet and then, with
your hands, wet your head and neck.

Do not leave valuables in the sand without anyone watching them. Thefts can
occur.

You have to shower before and after getting into the pool, and slowly enter
the water,

The edge of the pool is only to walk through it and enterING the water. Avoid
running, ABOVE ALL with bare feet and wet, avoiding the curbS and the
trampolines and slides.

Children cannot get in the water without adult supervision. An older person
should be with them while they are in the water.

The inflatable vest is essential, and should continue to be used until they have
learned to swim perfectly.

Children should have all kinds of sunscreen, including creams, drinking water
frequently, sunglasses or wearing a cap on the head.

For younger children and those with a very clear skin, it is advisable to wear T-
shirts and swimsuits with a sun protection factor on the fabric.

The most important thing is prevention.

You should avoid going to places with few people.

Look at the people who are in your environment.

Always carry a little cash.

DO not drink away from the areas recommended for tourists.

If you feel in danger look for a place with people.

Always carry the phone connected.

Any problem or doubt, call the police.

Tipping in Spain is not mandatory.

It is given as a token of gratitude and satisfaction for good service.

The exception would be hotels. A standard of courtesy when staying more than
two nights in the same hotel is to leave a small amount of money, around 2
euros per night.

You can give it for the cleaning of the room, for uploading the suitcases to the
room, to the waiters and taxi drivers, and it is usually rounding off the final price:
one or two euros.
