States Embassy in Manila suspended all routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments and processing due to the Department of State’s global suspension of visa services and the Philippines’ community quarantine measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Applicants who appear without complete requirements may be required to schedule the next available non-expedited appointment.

If your medical exam is not complete, or you will
otherwise be unable to attend this appointment, please contact us at https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/contactus/ when you are ready to proceed and your appointment will be rescheduled. Section 203 (g) of the INA provides that an applicant's registration for an immigrant visa be terminated for failure to apply for the visa within one year following notification of the availability of such visa. Your case will remain open, and you will be able to reschedule your appointment, for one year from the date of your scheduled interview.

We strongly encourage all applicants to follow the Government of the Philippine's community quarantine measures.
Section 203(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act
requires the Secretary of State to terminate the registration of any alien who fails to apply for an immigrant visa within one year following notification of the availability of a visa number. THIS LETTER IS YOUR NOTIFICATION THAT A VISA NUMBER IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. FAILURE TO PURSUE YOUR VISA APPLICATION BY COMPLYING WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW WILL COMMENCE PROCEEDINGS TO TERMINATE YOUR IMMIGRANT VISA REGISTRATION ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THIS LETTER.
