An inspirational leader:

1. Stand up for their values,

2. Believe in their purpose, and
3. Demonstrate behaviours that are driven by integrity.

Vision is crucial for you, as a leader. It helps you ensure that your team is clued in and agrees with the
overall direction and sense of purpose.

What are some of the ways to build a good vision? The main features of a great vision are listed
below:

Extrinsic motivation occurs when actions are motivated by external factors such as wealth,
popularity, grades and recognition. Studying for grades, riding for winning a race and learning a new

A leader should drive motivation by sharing purpose, appreciating people, setting clear rules,
making teams accountable, and giving ownership to their team.

In a workplace where millennials share the space with those from other generations, you must have

emotions so as to promote emotional and intellectual growth

The five elements of emotional intelligence are as follows:

2. Self-management
