Christmas is that time of the year where everybody is looking forward to

something . Some are looking forward to the break, some maybe the food, the
kids looking forward to their presents. Everyone puts up the Christmas trees
and many houses on the street are lit up with decorations. But what is the true
meaning of Christmas take a moment to think what Christmas means to you
and why do we actually celebrate it. Let me give you a hint , It’s in the name.
We celebrate it for the birth of Jesus, a gift from God for free. Jesus was born
for a purpose and that is to spread good news to everybody and die so that we
may be forgiven and saved. That’s why as a person of God it is crucial for Jesus
to be the centrepiece to your life. Allow him to be the glue that holds
everything together , allow him to be the star the guides the way because
when Jesus is in your life and has a place in your heart, everything will fall into
place. He lives in us, he lives in what we do, where we go so we must
represent him well to show God how grateful we are for Jesus.(Reader reads 1
Corinthians 15:57). This verse tells us Christmas is truly a gift from God and we
have victory through Jesus.This is something we must cherish, never forget the
true meaning of Christmas because nothing else matters more than Jesus
coming into the world for us because the Bible says he is the way the truth and
the life and nobody comes to The Father except through Jesus.
