Dear Sir Oga,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally explain and
apologize for my absence from duty on November 23, 2023. I understand the
importance of being present and fulfilling my duties as a student teaching
observer, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it has caused.

The reason for my absence was due to a previously scheduled appointment

for civil service examination, which I had arranged before the deployment
and scheduling of my duties. The civil service appointment was essential and
required my presence on the specified date.

I want to assure you that I take my responsibilities with my assigned mentor

seriously and understand the impact of my absence. I have asked politely to
ensure that any task will be completed or delegated in my absence to
minimize any adverse effects on our end. I am committed to making up for
the lost time and ensuring that no future absences be made.

Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused, and I appreciate your
understanding and consideration in this matter.
