Breath Range and Endurance Developed Through Control Chromatic Technique By Dr. Charles Colin fro ! AK C Eon Medern Method fOr Trumpet or Cornet (SY tate cain. 23 Grape © toppon NY 10980 =) BREATH CONTROL Range and Endurance Developed Through CHROMATIC TECHNIQUE ‘The intent of these exercises were prepared specifically as a discipline for coordinated Rhythmic Accented Breath Pulsation. It is recommended that the prelimina y exercises be practiced slowly, Accelerated speed should be gradually increased when synchornization feels comfor able and secure. Speed increased prematurely cold quite often unbalance coordination of Rhythm Breath Pulsation and Finger Synchroni- zation. During preliminary slow practice discipline in firmness of pressing down of tie valves stabilizes muscular development. Emphasis on dynamic accented “Rhythmic Breath Pulzation" motivates and molds the fluidity of unlabored finger dexterity. Concentration on rhythmic accented breath pulsation synchronized with rhythmic accented finger firmness is an added dimension, study, and discipline for growth in stabilizing coordination. a3 — - @ Se aga Hed ee ee ee Concentrate on the discipline of firmness in training of muscular finger technique to ride on the Series cr ab ave ; SORES G5 18 POSINE WIN TERMEING Dee prtire exercise, one breath only. x— foe be be a S Ala Breve - one beat to the bar = aa © ml lala lS eS dS "ol i Breve - one beat to the bar ot ew, = aa: = ee eee EXERCISE IN ACCENTED BREATH PULSATION {timate goal to be played in one breath Q=s A oboe woh eet ra a Rest 10 seconds. 2 / id ’ * 6 eee SSS : A D + to) Rest 10 seconds. epi + DISCIPLINE.
