Material of Construction Glass
1. Tee & Sight Glass are supplied either in FEP or PFA lined
depending on process liquid handled & as per standard
resin spec. ASTM D 2116 & ASTM D 3307 Type II
respectively.
2. Tee & Sight Glass are being supplied with fixed flanges.
However it can be supplied with loos Flanges as per
individual customer’s requirement & confirms to ASTM
A-105 or IS-2062.
Tubular Sight Glass
Dimensional Standards
1. PTFE Gaskets can be offered either Mill Type or Slit type on request.
2. Main Body Gaskets of Glass Lined Reactors of all sizes also offered on
request.
3. PTFE Ring Gaskets of any sizes also offered on request.
4. Gasket of sizes 300x400 & 350x450 offered are for elliptical Manhole
Nozzles.

Grabit Engineering Offers Flexible PTFE plain OR corrugated hose with high tensile SS wire braiding. PTFE Lined SS
Collar is crimped with flexible PTFE Hose. Thus providing entire contact area with PTFE throughout the hose
Assembly.
Dimensional Standards :
1. Flanges can be supplied with standards like ASA, BS, DIN OR
JIS as per individual Customer’s requirement. TEFLON LINING

1. PTFE White Liner confirms to standard resin Specification
ASTM D-1457, ASTM D 4994 & 95 Type II.
2. Flanges confirms to ASTM A 105 Gr, B OR IS 2062. However
Grabit Engineering Recommends SS Stub ends with both
flanges as loose.

VISUAL : All Spool Pipes, Fittings & valves are inspected visually to ensure that there is
1. No evidence of Pinholes, Porosity or Cracks.
2. Fitment of the liner with the Pipes & Housing is Proper.
3. The Gasket seating surface of the Lining is Free from Scratches, Dents, Nicks or any tool
marks.
HYDROSTATIC TEST :
All pipes, fittings & valves are subjected to a 20 Kg/Cm2 HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE test at room temperature using
clean Water before & after lining to ensure that there is no evidence of any leakage.
ELECTROSTATIC TEST :
All Spool Pipes, Assemblies & Fittings are subject to 15,000 V Non-Destructive HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTROSTATIC Spark
Test to ensure that there is no evidence of defects like Pin Holes, Micro Porosity or cracks in the liner.
VACUUM TEST
Spool Pipes, Assemblies & Fittings are subjected to full Vacuum test at 90 DEG. C to ensure that there should not be
any Bulging or Buckling or Collapse of the liner.
