GROUP INFOGRAPHIC ASSIGNMENT
(10%)
• A chance to work with infographic-building software, demonstrate your
knowledge gained in our “intercultural communication” discussion (next
week), and demonstrate your research/documentation skills
– Each team will choose a geographical region and create an infographic for
internal company use (imagine employees are travelling abroad for an important
meeting in this country)
– Your infographic will provide cultural and other information on this country to
help the sales team
• Detailed assignment will be available next week
• Let’s add any remaining students who were absent in Week 1 to our
existing teams

• On Brightspace, Week 2 module – available in the last hour of class


NEXT WEEK

• We’ll discuss the importance of audience analysis, intercultural skills, active


listening and non-verbal communication to business communication
• Prepare by reading as per course outline: 1.2-1.5 and 2.3-2.5
• We’ll look at the Infographic Assignment handout together and you can
start working on the assignment
