JMA Connector Boots

Gamma’s JMA connector boot is a silicone boot specifically designed for cable assemblies
that are field terminated with JMA connectors. The boot is an easy to install, one-piece
solution that is waterproof and UV resistant, allowing it to protect against water ingress
and corrosion. The boot is placed on the cable prior to being terminated with a male JMA
connector. First the male connector is mated to the female connector. Next, the boot
slides up and over the male connector grabbing tight around the female connector to
create a watertight seal.

Once the connector is installed to factory specifications, the boot slides over the
connector with ease. When installed correctly, the boot provides an IP68 rated seal on
both the cable and connector sides of the boot. Just slide the boot down the cable to
quickly uninstall. This allows the installer to access the connection after installation quickly
and easily.

Gamma’s JMA connector boot is available in straight and right-angle models. When
installing the right-angle model, a small amount of grease is spread on the male connector
to allow for easy installation. The grease is included with the boot.
