2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Storage
-Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep
cool.
Disposable
-Dispose of contents/container to a
licensed hazardous-waste disposal
contractor or collection site.
Ingestion Get medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting unless suggested
by the professional. Do not give anything by mouth if the person is
unconscious.
Eye Wash with plenty of water for at least 15-20 minutes. Seek medical aid
immediately.
Skin Carefully remove contaminated clothing. Wash contaminated skin with plenty
of soap and water for at least 15-20 minutes. Seek medical advice.
Inhalation Move victim to area with fresh air. Keep victim at rest position. Seek medical
aid.
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media Carbon dioxide, dry chemicals, foam or water fog.
Special hazards Toxic or irritating gas may be generated during fire.
Fire fighting further advice Full protective equipment with self-contained apparatus
should be used. Evacuate bystanders to safe place. Keep
intact containers cool by spraying water. Do not release
contaminated water into the environment.
Personal precautions
Use suitable personal protective equipment to prevent contamination of skin, eye, and personal
clothing.
When dealing with a spillage do not eat, drink or smoke.
Keep unauthorized people away, and provision of sufficient ventilation.
Environmental precautions
Do not allow spillage to get into drains, surface and ground water. Contamination of the
environment can give rise to indirect human chemical exposures within and outside of
workplaces.
Handling Avoidance of spills. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Eating, drinking,
and smoking in work areas are prohibited. After use and before eating,
drinking or smoking wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and
water. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before
entering eating areas. After use, wash gloves and clothing. Keep out of
reach of children.
Storage Store in the non-sparking well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Store
and use away from heat, sparks, open flame, or any other ignition source.
Store in a locked room or place away from children, animals, food,
feedstuffs, seed and fertilizers. Keep container closed at all times.
