a countryside estate. The speaker and his neighbor are fixing a wall together, which separates their
properties. Mending Wall is a poem that describes the relationship between two neighbors and
idea of maintaining barriers. This poem reflects how people make physical barriers and emotional
barriers. A barrier is an object that keeps something in or the unwanted out. The speaker wants to

communication is nonverbal. In this class I hope to improve on my interpersonal communication

hurt to someone I love. Likewise, I have been on the receiving end of hurt directly as a result of
poor communication.
Currently, if I were to rank my comfortability in speaking in front of the class, I would say it

often leads people to believe I would have no problem speaking in public, but when the spotlight

performance. The researcher used an existing Rosenberg Self Esteem scale to obtain a raw data of

telescope I went to was the Nebula. I learned that it had a grey ring around it and that the sun

The Purpose Of Public Education
Public education has many purposes in contemporary society. One purpose should be to teach
kids basic skills that they need throughout life; this includes basic math, reading, writing. Along
with this on a broader level I believe that schools should teach children to have a growth mindset.
A growth mindset is important for everyone to have throughout life as it will allow them to be
more open to new experiences and it will teach them to question what they are told. The ability to
