penetration is crucial. A detailed analysis of the competitive environment and factors influencing
product acceptance is needed.
Supply analysis: Classifying supply according to the number of suppliers and the factors influencing
supply provides a clear understanding of how the market works...
Determining potential unmet demand: Discussion of how to infer demand when data is missing is
useful in addressing situations of uncertainty in the market.
Price analysis: Understanding how prices are determined, including the example of the world oil
market, provides practical insight into supply and demand dynamics.
Factors influencing price: Recognising that quality, quantity purchased and type of establishment
affect price is fundamental to effective pricing.
Marketing strategies: The importance of marketing strategy, especially in pricing, highlights the need
for a holistic approach to product marketing.
Gaining insights through surveys: The importance of conducting surveys of both consumers and
intermediaries highlights the need to collect relevant data to understand market preferences.
Developing forecasting models: I agree that simplicity should not be underestimated when choosing a
forecasting model. Sometimes less complex models can provide a clearer understanding of the
phenomenon under study and be easier to interpret and apply in practice.

Things that don't make sense or don't seem that useful:

Mention of the Obvious: Some parts of the text seem redundant, such as when it is mentioned that it
is crucial to fully understand the problem in order to come up with correct solutions. This is a truism in
any kind of research.

Product Classification: The detailed classification of products according to their nature and use
provides a deeper understanding of how the market can be segmented and strategies adapted
accordingly.
