REFLECTION
1. Why are Lewis structures important?
It is very important because It will give us knowledge about how it will bond and how many
bonds it will form.
2. An atom becomes stable when bonded with other atoms, how will you relate this in human
relationship?
I relate this in humans. The perfect example for this is the bond between the members of a
family. When you had a problem and kept worrying in it, your family will always be there to give
you strength and courage to go through things. That makes us feel better when having a time
with them. A family that u can rely on with your problems and help you, even support you, just
like atoms when they had bonded on another atom.

3. What type of bond do you have with the people around you?
Affection

REFLECTION

1. What would be the consequences if water becomes a nonpolar molecule?

It would be water cannot be able to transport nutrients in our plants and in our bodies. It won’t
dissolve.

2. What type of covalent bond do you have with your siblings or parents, is it polar or nonpolar? Why

It would be non-polar bond.
