DND

Second session 1
• New campaign.
• One player missing due to illness.
• New characters are Oswin (folk hero fighter) and Sophy (a ranger spy).
• New island, Rensbrath, on the western side of the world and unknown until 2000
years ago.
• 1000 year war until a calamity, a spell was cast that killed 100000 as a chunk of the
island sunk.
• One nation may not have open hostilities with more than one nation at a time, if
broken then retribution of 100000 souls.
• Mostly peaceful in 1000 years after.
• Town of Mazlech, boarder town between the coalition and the clans.
• Clans are recently formed, came together recently under one leader (mainly orcs,
goblins, trolls)
• Coalition (elves, half-elves, Dunadine)
• Recent war has changed the boarder and tension between two nations are high.
• Party at a bar in the town, drinking.
• Ambush out of town caused party to meet.
• Bar is quiet.
• Oswin has been following bandits eastwards.
• Valdraken the vampire is well know.
• Party go to sleep, Sophy insists in sleeping in the same room with one on the floor and
one in the bed.
• Wake up in the morning, get breakfast.
• Oswin goes out for supplies and Sophy follows close behind.
• See a blacksmith.
• Oswin gets a whetstone, Sophy gets 5 special arrows and 20 normal arrows.
• Oswin inquires about the bandits, blacksmith has seen his son two weeks ago heading
east.
• Trying to get past the boarder into wild country.
• Party goes to the potion shop.
• See guards up north with the barracks.
• Potion sell in dept, tries selling potions for 10 gold, will sell for 5 gold if deliver a box
in the next town.
• Box to be delivered to Kezrat.
• Potion maker says box is medical drugs, not illegal.
• Looking for 57 wave shift. Holly bush outside.
• Agree to take box, get potions and leave town.
• 1st day is hot, Sophy is paranoid and looking for a fight, several rabbits, hares and
squirel.
• Sophy skins her kills.
• Oswin smokes and stews rabbits.
• Settle in for the night, uneventful.
• 2nd day we meet our first person.
• Notice something immediately wrong, man is shambling, more come out, 5 zombies.
• Roll for initiative.
Session 2
• Party attacked by five zombies.
• Sophy shoots at one zombie, hits
• Oswin shoots same zombie and hits.
• Zombies shamble forward.
• Party notice their eyes are glowing green with tiny whisps acting like puppet strings.
• Sophy shoots another zombie, hits and takes its arm off.
• Oswin remembers that zombies are resistant to poison, can get back up if not put
down.
• Oswin shoots another zombie, hits and bolt goes into its chest.
• Eyes glow slightly dimmer.
• Zombies shamble forward.
• Sophy shoots the first zombie, hits while using a ripper arrow, arrow head opens and
slices through the flesh, killing the zombie as the wisps dissapear, trying to reattach as
it falls.
• Sophy moves.
• Oswin shoots and misses as zombie blocks it with axe, and Oswin draws his sword as
zombies shamble forward.
• Zombie with axe attacks Oswin, but is blocked with Oswin’s shield and magic is
disrupted slightly.
• Sophy drops her longbow, draws both her swords and attacks the axe wielding
zombie, stabs it and kills it.
• Oswin steps around another zombie and cleaves the zombie in two.
• Zombies shamble to the two fighters, one claws at Oswin, but is unable to grab at
him.
• The last zombie stops before Sophy as it crouches down and it has blue glowing eyes
without any strings.
• Sophy questions it and it replies, ‘we are hunting you, they want you dead’ and it
starts laughing.
• It is not normal.
• Sophy runs behind the zombie attacking Oswin and attacks it, runs it through before
decapicating it.
• Oswin attacks last zombie, stabs it.
• Zombie is coughing up black ichor that smells of death.
• The smells distracts Oswin for a second, as its hand turns into a spike, but it fails to
hurt Oswin as he blocks it with his shield.
• Oswin attacks, but the smell distracts me so much that it misses.
• Zombie attacks again, but fails to get past the shield as Oswin is able to move it
uncounciously.
• Sophy runs closer to the last zombie, throws away her swords and draws her hand
crossbow, shoots and hits last zombie.
• Oswin recovers and attacks last zombie, stabs it with a double hand on sword, killing
zombie for the last time.
• ‘I wonder what your face will look like when we kill your son in front of you’
‘WHAT!’
• Sophy drops crossbow and draws short swords and cuts zombie’s head off.
• Oswin wants to burn the zombies and Sophy doesn’t want to touch them.
• 4 sets of worn clothes, 2 daggers, 2 gold coins, scorpion tail weapon (same attack as
short sword, 1d4 poison damage, Dex based), 10 gold coins and a mark on talking
zombie’s chest (note that it’s a mercenary mark, note that its fresh yet mishapened,
done after the body was turned)
• Sophy knows this mark, the bronze wick mercenary group, small, operating within the
United Clans near port cities, only known for taking people on the water, so their
either desperate or taken over by a powerful person.
• Oswin can only think that Stardun is able to pay it, can‘t kill him as he’s a noble.
• Head on to next town with questions in their heads.
• Oswin determined to get his children back and avenge his wife.

Session 3
• Party arrive at Kezrat.
• Sophy leaves and Oswin is approached by a half-elf sorcerer, Zack.
• Sophy has gone to the Organisation, an information broker group that Sophy belongs
to.
• Zack needs to party up.
• Oswin is concerned he’s part of a gang, but is convinced he isn’t.
• ‘Just keep your drugs away from me’ ‘what drugs (takes a drag on a giant roll up)’
• Zack is a good guy even if he is stupid.
• Zack is currently staying at the university.
• Zack talks about the DM and Oswin has no clue what he’s talking about.
• Oswin wants to head to the nearest inn.
• Zack says there’s a contact in the square building in the west.
• Two inns are popular, the Public House and Satin (very posh place)
• Oswin head to the contact.
• Takes a while, find a very plain looking building, once was a shop but is now boarded
up, grey door is very clean, lack of dust on door handle and footsteps in front of the
door.
• Zack knocks on the door, hears a knock reply but both don’t know the code.
• Zack replies with the same knocks.
• Several locks open and the door opens slightly, both enter and door closes behind
them.
• Room is dark, 5ft individual in front of door in a cloak.
• ‘If I didn’t know you were an idiot, I would have shoved you through that door by
now.’
• Organisation likes to right wrongs.
• They get out of the front room, go down a spiral stairs and enter another room with
bright light and noise.
• 1920’s speak easy.
• Zack goes straight to the bar.
• Patrons are smoking, band is playing.
• Barman is a grizzled elf with wrinkles, grey hair and beard.
• Zack wants a cocktail, Oswin wants scrumpy and Barman mentions a dwarf that he
was a friend with.
• At the mention of dragons, Oswin mentions that he encountered a dragon and how his
previous party escaped by drugging a dragon, at which point both Barman and Zack
recognise it as ‘drug dragon’.
• Zack is thoughoughly happy about it, ‘the university talks about it all the time, can I
call you triple d?’ (Drug dragon dude) ‘Please don’t’ (Zack proceeds to call him triple
d) ‘I hate that wizard.’
• Oswin is on the Organisation’s radar.
• Only a few people can make a zombie talk.
• Barman and Zack argue.
• Barman gives out their drinks.
• Thralls, not zombies.
• Vampires have the ability to cause a talking undead.
• Oswin is terrified at the thought that a vampire is after him and has his kids.
• After describing the mercanary mark, Madam Eshther is a vampire lord whom the
barman knows and suspects is involved.
• There are seven vampire lords.
• Bronze wick mercenary group is a cover for one of them.
• Zack is aware how potent his cocktail is.
• Either Eshther or her family is involved in Oswin’s children.
• Need more people, a proper siege, are you sure you want to continue this.
• Barman jumps over the bar and heads out.
• Barman is Samson and is willing to help and come with them.
• Going vampire hunting.
• One rule, may come a time that is morally reprehensible that needs to be done.

Session 4
• Party leave the bar and head into town.
• Samson is a self proclaimed “expert” on vampires.
• Stand in front of another store “the Grindstone”
• Samson gives party maps of the town.
• Temple of Aba (god of fathers), possibility to get holy water.
• Pass Versilt bank and treasury.
• The Satinn (inn)
• Temple is simple, granite building, spiral pillars.
• Party see a stone mason chiselling away at the building, the walls are engraved with
thousands of name.
• Zack asks the stone mason a question, mason is an orc, quite buff but has an
archaeologist hat and a tiny hammer and chisel.
• The names engraved are names of fathers.
• Temple is the first building in the city, Kezrat is orc for “father”.
• There is a place for mothers elsewhere in the land.
• Orcs used to fight one another until Zorok came alone and united the orc clans.
• Zack says they’re going to kill vampires, Oswin says its not wise to tell anyone that.
• Party enter temple.
• Stained ash doors, big place.
• In the Center is the remains of a hut.
• Fairly old half orc cleric comes out.
• Cleric knows Samson, Samson is nervous.
• Cleric wants to know what the holy water is for.
• Cleric will give holy water in exchange for a task, needs them to close their eyes.
• Cleric wants the floors cleaned.
• Samson (now Solomon) has several vampire bites on his neck, cured by holy water.
• Oswin starts mopping and ignoring Zack’s stupid questions.
• Cleric is named Olgile
• Party starts cleaning the temple floor.
• 8 hours cleaning.
• Zack tends to sleep and lets his mage hand to clean with Solomon continuously
waking him up.
• Zack’s father is part of the Organisation (unknown to him) and wants Zack to have a
good education.
• Zack telepathically communicates with Oswin who shouts back at him before
throwing a wet cloth at him.
• Floor is then cleaned and cleric gives party the holy water, ‘don’t drink the holy
water’.
• 26 holy water.
• Solomon holds 15, Zack holds 5 and Oswin holds 6.
• Solomon comforts Oswin.
• Solomon informs Oswin that John Dunstar has Merryl but wont do anything until she
is of age, Svann is in more danger.
• Oswin wants to get rid of the Scorpion tail.
• Party go to the forge for weapons and selling the scorpion tail weapon.
• Solomon informs party of a friend he knew who engraved his entire body with
sorcerer’s symbols.
• Party arrive at the Fine Forge.
• Orc blacksmith.
• Solomon leaves.
• Orc blacksmith is pissy.
• Oswin sells a dagger scorpion tail, 5 gold and 1 silver.

Session 5
• Party at the Fine Forge.
• Orc recognises Zack is from the university.
• Zack gets Oswin to sharpen his rapier.
• Oswin wants to get garlic, so they head to All Goods.
• Old gentleman behind counter.
• Oswin buys two bulbs of garlic.
• Zack wants a girthy carrot.
• Zack tries to barter for a carrot, fails and sulks off.
• Oswin leaves.
• Zack wants to buy healing potions but doesn’t want to deal with the shop keeper of
All Goods again.
• They head to Standard issue goods.
• Place is busy, four young adventeruers, older gentleman organising things, an eleven
woman gathering some items, counter is run by a middle aged halfling, pigtails for
hair, brown skin, green eyes.
• Zack initially wants mana potions, but they’re ridiculously expensive, so he wants
healing potions but shop hasn’t got any.
• Zack doesn’t want to buy a healing potion due to how expensive it is, but Oswin buys
one for him and gives it to Zack.
• The two of them go off to find Solomon.
• Solomon just appears between the two of them.
• Solomon is armed to the teeth to fight vampires while looking like Van Helsing.
• Zack learns that all the vampire hunter stories are based on Solomon.
• Solomon is carrying a wooden cross as tall as him with nooses on it.
• It carries dark magic that scares off other dark magic.
• They talk about drugs for a bit.
• They head out of town.
• Either go the long way or the hard way, go the long way.
• Journey will take about a month and a half.

Session 6
• Party goes a day and a half into the journey before encountering a horde of undead at
a ravine.
• Solomon asks if party has fought zombies before, Oswin has with Sophie, (Zack is
now Barry) Barry hasn’t.
• All weapons are all dipped in holy water.
• Oswin shoots one zombie, hits.
• Zombie has its own bow.
• Barry casts magnify gravity on a group of zombies, two are affect but one isn’t.
• Barry hides behind Solomn, only for Solomon to run forward and shoot one of the
affected zombies with a pistol, kills it instantly.
• Two zombies approach Solomon and attack while the others move forward.
• The two at Solomon attack, both miss.
• Two archers shoot, one aims at Oswin and the other aims at Barry, both miss.
• Oswin shoots zombie archer and hits it.
• Barry uses magnify gravity on more zombies, kills two and wounds the other two,
Barry then hides behind Oswin.
• Solomon kicks zombie into the ravine, killing it before rushing to one of the ravine
walls.
• Solomon is approached by one zombie, two rush towards Oswin and Barry with one
getting within melee range.
• The two are Thralls rather than Zombies.
• Solomon gets a super soaker with holy water out.
• Zombie attacks Solomon, hits.
• Archers shoots Oswin, one misses, one hits Oswin in the collar.
• Oswin drops the crossbow due to arrow, draws his sword and attacks thrall, hits
before rolling around thrall and using action surge to take a healing potion.
• Barry moves to the side and casts fire bolt on zombie archer, misses.
• Solomon uses his claymore and attacks zombie, hits but only scalps it before running
towards the thrall attacking Oswin.
• Barry uses a spell to save Solomon and gives Oswin an advantage.
• Zombies and thrall run towards party, two attack and miss Solomon, thrall heading
towards Barry is hit.
• Archer misses Oswin, Archer misses Barry, Thrall attacks Oswin, hits, Thrall attacks
Barry, (thrall is sentient and Barry tries to tell Solomon, Thrall speaks only for Barry
to tell it to shut up), attack hits.
Session 7
• Oswin attacks zombie, hits twice.
• Barry is a sword singer and charges himself up and attacks the thrall, misses.
• Solomon attacks zombies, hits one and missed one.
• Zombie archer shoots Barry, other shoots Oswin, both miss.
• Zombies attack Solomon, hit him.
• Thrall moves around Oswin and hits him
• Thrall attacks Barry, hits but Barry has a mystical shield around him to protect him at
the last moment.
• Oswin sees a small green flame within the thrall’s eyes, strings around zombies but
not around Thralls.
• Oswin drinks a healing potion before attacking the thrall, misses, moves around
Thrall.
• Barry moves around thrall, uses a spell to knock Thralls back, one is saved by the
bridge railing, the other is only just able to grab the edge and pull himself up while
barry runs up to another zombie.
• Solomon kills both zombies attacking him, obliterating one and normal killing the
other.
• Solomon runs up to another zombie.
• Thrall looses its charge to save its life.
• Thrall attacks Barry, hits.
• Zombie hits Solomon.
• Archers shoots both Solomon and Barry, hits both.
• Barry uses silvery bard on the Zombie archer before he is hit.
• Arrow misses Barry.
• Thrall before Barry bursts into green fire.
• Oswin charges Thrall and knocks him off the cliff, the thrall failing to grab hold of the
cliff.
• Gout of flame rises up in the sky and goes off in the direction of the spiked throne.
• Oswin runs up to the zombie to help Solomon.
• Barry attacks remaining thrall, misses.
• Barry drinks his healing potion.
• Solomon attacks zombie and hits it.
• Archers shoot Solomon and Oswin, misses both with one hurting itself.
• Zombie attacks Solomon, misses.
• Thrall attacks Barry but misses and unable to charge any further.
• Oswin attacks Zombie, hits and kills it, runs up to thrall.
• Barry attacks thrall, hits it before using misty step to get away from the thrall without
being hit.
• Solomon runs to the thrall and attacks, hits.
• Archers shoot Barry and Oswin, misses both.
• Thrall unable to charge and attacks Solomon, hits him.
• Oswin attacks but misses.
• Barry uses magnify gravity against the archers, kills them both before running away
from the battle like a coward.
• Thrall attacks Oswin and hits, Oswin now on 1 hit point.
• Oswin drinks his last healing potion before cleaving the Thrall’s head in two, thrall
green fire flies off.
• Oswin and Barry become level 4.
• Party head down road and find a bush to sleep in.
• Thralls had Spirit Fire (angry soul powering them). (Possible back story for Godric,
who doesn’t know that he is actually dead and his soul is inside the war forge, his end
goal will be the realisation and that he must accept and be ready to move on with
Ilmater granting him a boon, making him a champion as he moves on.)
• Oswin feat is enough time to add + 2 to create non magic armour and weapons, if
material is magical or have access to magical components +1 to create magical
armour or weapons.

Session 8
• New player with a new character. Galvna (father Aigril, searching for her father).
Berserker Barbarian Mountain Dwarf.
• Party recovers to full health after sleeping in a bush.
• Solomon takes 1st watch.
• Mining town up next.
• Galvna has been travelling for days, comes across the party.
• Barry is a black haired half elf.
• Galvna is hungry and tries to steal some food, but is spotted.
• Galvna is a young dwarf.
• Barry casts mage hand and starts pouring more food on her plate.
• Galvna not very good at hunting.
• Barry and Galvna start talking.
• Galvna has her father’s axe.
• Solomon just stares at Galvna, she has never seen an elf before.
• Solomon and Barry talk about elves age.
• Galvna and Barry talk.
• Oswin is trying to sleep.
• Galvna’s father was last seen up north.
• Father disappeared a few years ago.
• Solomon goes to bed and Barry has 2nd watch.
• Solomon tells Galvna history of undead.
• Galvna needs to get her father home whether he is alive or dead.
• Galvna goes to bed.
• Morning comes.
• Oswin meets Galvna.
• Oswin knows about dwarves and insults Barry in dwarvish.
• Solomon is messing with Barry.
• Barry doesn’t believe Solomon.
• Camp is packed and they head off.
• Party sees a horse drawn cart pulling a mine cart.
• Mine cart made of steel and has a lattice window.
• Sitting in the cart is a red teifling (green eyes) and a dwarf.
• Oswin waves the cart down.
• Cart comes to a stop.
• Oswin warns them about the zombies on the road, dwarf reveals that there’s a zombie
problem back at the mine.
• Dwarf does a strange salute, Galvna doesn’t know what it is, Barry thinks its is
something respectful to return, Oswin knows the salute (when younger in his village,
many boys wanted to be knights, a knight of Ilmater passed through) the salute is a
salute of Ilmater and he knows the response.
• Dwarf want to know if there are clerics, annoyed that there isn’t.
• Weird lass came through village, zombies appeared after.
• Dwarf has encounter talking undead.
• Witches might be involved.
• People going to the nearby cities.
• Blood in the machines, inside a factory on the northern side, something unholy is
going on.
• Party agree to sort out situation.

Session 9
• New player (Dragonborn paladin, Fred, grew up in Bahamut temple, feels he needs to
prove himself as he isn’t descended from the dragon he believed he was)
• Party head towards town, but Galvna looking worse for wear and is unable to join in
combat (player missing), going to be polishing her dad’s axe.
• Go through fields and forests, come upon plains.
• Come upon a track, several tracks all walking in the same direction.
• Fred is standing behind thickets, looking towards the smoke in the distance.
• Fred senses the pure evil in the land and notice the party walking down the track.
• Fred sees Solomon carrying a double headed hangman’s pole emanating evil, more so
than the town.
• Fred greets the party.
• Barry and Oswin both recognise the name Bahamut, one of the major deities (one
lawful (Bahamut), one chaotic (Habbakuk), one neutral (Waukeen) one purely good
(Palor)) (Ilmater not a major god).
• Fred asks what Solomon is carrying, Solomon not happy.
• Solomon explains totem.
• Barry gives Fred a bottle of Holy Water.
• Galvna stays behind.
• Party coat weapons in holy water and Oswin sharpens everyone’s weapons.
• Fred channels Sacred Weapon on his sword.
• Party comes to a place where the evil is emanating from.
• A small house.
• Fred can see the evil here.
• Solomon’s talisman chases much of the evil away.
• Party enter house ground.
• No windows, front door slightly ajar.
• Early evening.
• Barry uses x-ray vision and the inside of the house is empty but the floor is awash
with magic colours.
• Evil magic, Solomon sets talisman down where it stands up.
• Barry notes one of the magic things moves, informs Solomon.
• Solomon plans on how to get the thing inside out.
• Barry shoots a fire bolt at the door, a hole appears in the door.
• Fire bolt hits something invisible that shimmers.
• The thing is something humanoid, around three foot.
• Barry then runs around the side of the building to hide.
• Gnarled green hand reaches through the hole and uses viscous mockery on Oswin, but
he is unimpressed by it.
• Don’t know what the thing coming out of the shack is.
• Oswin shoots a crossbow bolt at it, misses, he runs around side of the shack.
• Fred charges the creature and uses Devine smite, misses and reposition himself to the
side.
• Solomon charges the creature, he realises what it is as he misses his attack before
moving to the side.
• The creature uses visious mockery on Fred, Fred is able to resist it.
• The creature (Green Hag) then attacks Solomon, it hits him.
• Oswin and Barry realise that this is a Green Hag.
• Barry runs out and uses Vortex warp on Solomon to get him behind the Hag.
• Solomon disappears in a small tornado and he reappears behind the Hag.
• Barry then climbs on the roof and looks for the weakest place.
• Oswin punches a hole in the wall and shoots his crossbow, misses and nearly hits
Solomon.
• Solomon not happy.
• Fred moves in front of hag and attacks, hits with devine smite.
• Solomon attacks hag and hits.
• Hag attacks Fred, misses and she misses Solomon.
• Barry smashes through the roof by jumping through it, lands safely before running up
to hit the hag, hits.
• Oswin shoots his crossbow and hits it.
• Fred attacks hag, hits and kills it cleaves it in two and it turns to dust.
• Underneath the rug is a trap door, the party enter and see a horrific sight.
• A factory of flesh and blood.
• Flesh and gears mixed together with the wails of the damned.
• See many creatures that are undead save one standing on a raised machine, a mockery
of life, not a vampire.
• A vampire spawn.

Session 10
• (Need to mod my character sheet: Inititive +1, Passive wisdom 11)
• No obvious exits visible.
• Machinery producing blood, unknown where from.
• Vampire screaming in a vile language that no one can understand.
• Some form of muffled screaming from all around the room.
• Room radiates evil.
• Party is still unnoticed by the rooms inhabitants.
• Currently 30 feet underground, ceiling is 15 feet above.
• Party plan their moves, agree to fight in entrance of corridor.
• Fred moves forward and breathes fire at Vampire spawn.
• Galvna runs up next to Fred.
• Barry runs up behind Fred and casts magnify gravity upon a thrall.
• Only one thrall is affected.
• Barry uses bade song.
• Oswin runs up to Fred and shoots Vampire spawn and hits it but doesn’t do too much
damage.
• Solomon runs up in front of Fred and shoots vampire spawn, hits, draws his great
sword.
• Vampire spawn runs up in front of Oswin, with the other zombies run up towards
party.
• Vampire spawn and attacks Fred, hits.
• Vampire spawn tries to grab Oswin, but he is able to block it.
• Zombie attacks Galvna, hits.
• Zombies attack Solomon, hits.
• Thrall’s eyes glow green.
• ‘Vengeance for my brothers’
• Fred present his holy symbol, several zombies flee from the symbol.
• Zombie in front of Galvna dies as she hits it.
• Galvna moves up next to Solomon and attacks thrall, hits.
• Barry casts magnify gravity on zombies, one zombie dies, two others are slowed.
• Oswin attacks Vampire spawn and misses, attacks again but vampire steps back and
sword sticks in the wall, fails to pulls it out.
• Solomon attacks thrall, but fails to hit it, passes Oswin a circular vial ‘Smash it on her
head, its holy water’.
• Vampire spawn attacks Solomon, hits, he is now grappled, proceeds to bite him.
• Thrall attacks Galvna, hits.
• Zombie fails to hit Solomon.
• Frightened zombies don’t apporoach, but zombie shoots Galvna, hits, Barry is hit.
• Fire around thrall grows.
• Fred uses lay on hands on Galvna, revives her.
• Galvna uses rage on the thrall after moves around him, hit him before returning back
to her initial position.
• Barry uses misty step to get behind the Vampire spawn, uses silvery barbs before
using dissonant whispers, hits.
• Oswin smashes bottle of holy water on vampire spawn, skin starts burning, fails to
pull sword out.
• Solomon breaks free of grapple, attacks vampire spawn and hits.
• Vampire spawn attacks Barry, hits, and he is now grappled.
• Zombie attacks Solomon, misses.
• Thrall moves in front of Galvna and hits her.
• Zombie archers shoot Fred, Galvna and Oswin, all miss.
• Fred channels his sacred weapon and attacks Vampire spawn, misses.
• Galvna attacks thrall, hits.
• Thrall swears vengeance against Galvna.
• Barry stays grappled and casts Blooming blade on Vampire spawn (pokes her in the
bum), fails, before using Misty step to escape the grapple.
• Oswin finally recovers the sword, attacks Vampire spawn and hits.
• Solomon fails to hit anything.
• Thrall attacks Galvna, misses.
• Zombie attacks Solomon, hits.

• Oswin wonders if Fred could bless the area, Solomon says that he could help.
• Solomon unable to continue on as he needs to cleanse the area, so party need to carry
on to the vampire lord’s castle on their own.

• Eshtheer’s weakness is wood (steak through the heart).
• Party leaves.
• Barry is not doing to great, sick from the fight.
• Going to be crossing the boarder from the Kesal before going to the Green Belt,
before going to the Spiked Throne.

• Galvna successfully hunts deer, 4 deer. Gather the meat, 4 good quality deer pelts
(quality number 4), 8 antlers (quality number 4).
• Make a fire and Oswin cooks a good hearty meal (+6 temporary hit points)
• Fred whittles wood and rebates 10 steaks, all of them very sharp (5 silver a piece).

• The road is a dirt road, only booted footmarks on the road.

• Go onto a more regular path.

• Settle another night, Barry on watch again.

• Get moving on the next day.
• Something occurs in the distance, Oswin and Galvna don’t recognise it, but Fred does,
it is a waterfall.
• Party head to the waterfall.
• Galvna dives into the pool under the waterfall for a bath.

• Fred changes his vision and sees a green glow, nature magic.
• Oswin notices a humanoid figure at the top of the cliff, dives into the pool and grabs
Galvna’s leg.
• Galvna kicks the figure, an elven figure, light blue colouration, Oswin doesn’t know
what it is, but Galvna and Fred do, especially Galvna, figure is a water spirit (similar
to dryad).
• Water spirit want’s to know what they are doing there, gets into an argument with
Galvna.

Session 12
• Galvna made a necklace in her down time, Oswin check armour and weapons and
Fred meditated.
• Oswin +2 to smithing, Fred +1 to woodwork, Galvna +1 to Jewlery. (1 hour to their
next craft) (add numbers onto whatever you roll when doing skills)
• Water spirit tells the party to bugger off before sodding off himself.
• Noise return to area as spirit is very powerful.
• Party looks around, both Fred and Galvna doesn’t notice anything but Oswin spots a
shimmer just behind the waterfall.
• Look closer at the stone behind waterfall is an optical illusion, a single file tunnel that
is slick.
• Party goes into the tunnel, Fred in front, Oswin second and Galvna last.
• Enter into an area that has a door and a piece of glass, the glint Oswin saw was glass
that keeps the water out.
• Door is closed, old, the wood holding up but the metal rusting, an area of dust
indicating where the door opens, it has been used in the last two weeks.
• See footprints of a large man (similar in size to Fred)
• Footprints do not match that of the water spirit.
• Water spirit not the most inteligent of beings.
• Glass is concealed not hidden.
• Fred tries to use divine sense, but finds nothing.
• Galvna opens the door.
• Galvna enters a room with six levers and a grate on the floor, one of the walls has salt
on it.
• The grate has a nasty smell coming from it.
• Water under the grate.
• The levers are metal and the tops are wooden knobs, all of them worn.
• The room is in tiles.
• Each door has a metal band to make it open inwards.
• The door at the far end can be opened.
• Galvna opens the far door, a click sound is made and Oswin dives in as a stone slams
the airlock shut.
• Water starts rising.
• The door is locked.
• All the levers are set to a middle position.
• Party turn all the levers up.
• Door is still locked.
• Reset leavers and activate four and water drains and doors open.
• Party enter another room with another airlock, a table and three chairs and two
corridors.
• Deck of cards on the table, these doors don’t have metal bands on to make water tight.
• Party investigates the doors and leave the cards alone.
• Fred and Galvna look on in horror as Oswin takes a step towards the deck of cards
and sits down. Oswin breaks out of trance and is stuck in chair.
• Inscription on the table, in common, ‘from the table if you want to be free, you must
draw a card.’
• Oswin prays and draws one card.
• The card has three eyes, Third Eye, Something magical has stuck in Oswin’s mind,
gains Revivify, spend a diamond in order to cast it as it’s a cantrip spell once per day.
• Oswin stands up and dives away from the table.
• Galvna decides to draw a card from the Deck of Many.
• Galvna hears a voice in the back of her mind, hands suddenly flip the table and
scattering the cards before regaining control of her body.
• The Compulsion that kept us at the table is gone.
• Barry (player not here) draws cards.
• Fred looks through the left hand door, a room with cold air, has a ledge of stone and a
deep drop.
• Fred drops a rock, long way down.
• Stone looks stable for climbing.

• Galvna is excited about the vein as its her dwarvish heritage.
• Party goes into another room with a small room to the side and three other corridors.
• Fred enters and hears a click, steps on a pressure plate.
• Shot by several arrows from the walls.
• He had stepped in a kill box.
• Fred gets off pressure plate.
• Galvna sees the outline of the pressure plate.
• Fred uses lay on hands on himself.
• Galvna and Oswin both avoids it, Oswin sees a coin slot and puts a copper coin in it.
• Trap disarms itself.
• Oswin +1 Trap Sense.
• Oswin sees a bathroom and uses it.

Session 13
• Party at crossbow trap room.
• Barry is doing his own thing (player missing)
• Oswin looks for traps, tosses a coin down a corridor, sees no traps.
• Oswin leads the party down the corridor.
• The party hears a click of a trap as Fred stands on a pressure plate.
• Golem appears in the crossbow trap room.
• Party barricade the door after leaving the corridor.
• ‘Ding dong mode activated’ golem proceeds to smash door down.
• Party looks around the room, sees a dining hall filled with dust.
• A ghost sits at the head table.
• Golem is armoured.

• Ghost can’t stop the party from exploring but that he can’t protect them or allow them
to leave if there is something evil still living.
• Beyond the next door is where the evil is living in.
• See tiny scratch marks on the table.
• Ghost was chosen to stop evil getting out.
• Ghost’s lord died many years ago.
• The evil is from the deep, dark of the underworld.

• Once you enter, you cannot leave until it is dead.
• Ghost says he will help them, dissapears and comes back in a large suit of armour.
• Oswin recognise the armour as a war forged, having heard of one roaming the land in
rumour (Godric)
• Party enter large room and see a man.
• Oswin sharpens everyone’s weapons before they enter and coats them with holy
water.
• See clawmarks everywhere, man stands on top of a pile of gold and corpses.
• Fred casts bless on the party before running up to the man, which initially looked
human. A force stops Fred before he can reach the man as it turns not a large red
demon.
• Oswin shoots his crossbow, hits the demon.
• Demon just turns to Oswin, Oswin then hides behind a pillar.
• Galvna throws a javelin, demon catches it and breaks it.
• Galvna hides behind pillar.
• Warforged runs up to demon, misses his attack.
• Demon calls up black tentacles to come up out of the ground to ensnare Fred and
warforged.
• Fred and warforged break free and tentacles cause the terrain to be rough.
• Demon attacks Fred, misses two attacks and hits on a third.
• Fred attacks demon, hits and he uses divine smite on it.
• Fred nearly cuts it in two.
• Oswin peaks around pillar, shoots demon, hits, runs behind pillar again.

• Barry pulled two cards, one that causes him to loose an eye (+3 intlegence). The other
card is hidden.

(15gp), Diamond (301gp), 3500gp, 12000sp, 4 potions of healing, Adder of Strife
(weapon), Beacon Bow (weapon), Tina’s Gloves (Wonderous item), Pyre-bone Staff
(magic staff), Armour of Thorns (armour, light or medium)
• Everyone has 1 healing potion, 875gp, 3000 each.
• Oswin takes the Diamond, Beacon Bow, 21 broken weapons and 14 broken armour
(turned into scrap)

• Everyone conveine in the feats hall, everyone notice Barry coming in with a missing

• Everyone rests, Fred heals, Oswin turns the broken armour and weapons into scrap.
• Both Fred and Galvna take the time to attune to their magic items.
• Barry summons his familiar.
• Fred easily attunes to his Adder of Strife, as does the Armour for Galvna.
• Galvna wants to go to the pit.
• Ghost in the war forged has buggered off.
• Party meet at the pit, Galvna a sails down first with the familiar following.
• Galvna is down in the pit, there is loads of statues and a large glowing green crystal.
• The Familiar returns and Barry informs them that its fine to go down.
• Oswin drops a lit torch down the pit, narrowly misses Galvna before the party absail
down.
• Party see the statues which are loads of dragons, giants and an abolyth.
• Barry uses detect magic, the crystal is very magical, the statues are little magical,
circles on the floor.
• Galvna sees glowing runes on the floor beneath her.
• The land is concentrated, but not green, its purple.
• Barry uses mage hand on the statue, the statue does nothing.
• The Crystal keeps moving when the party looks away.
• Barry uses a arcana check on the runes and the runes do something that they don’t
know what.
• Barry thinks that there is a puzzle.
• There are squares on the floor as well.
• Barry walks to another rune circle.
• More diamond runes appear on the floor.
• Barry puts the familiar on a shape, one of the statues moved, but did not reset when
the owl leaves.
• Galvna reveals that she can’t move.
• Owl goes in a circle, one statue moves again.
• The owl leaves the circle and another statue moves.
• Oswin takes out another unlit torch and puts it in one of the squares and the crystal
moves, he leaves the torch in and walks away, nothing happens.
• Fred does the same as Oswin, the crystals move.
• Square shape move the crystals, the circle and half circle activate the statues and the
triangles turn the crystals.
• Barry pokes another square, the crystal moves.
• Oswin and Fred move to a statue and move it, hearing a bad sound and the statue turn
to face them.
• The statue eyes start glowing with green fire.
• Barry sends the owl towards the statue as he runs to the other side.
• The owl fly over the circle causing the statue to move, flies over a square that
reshapes the crystal.
• Barry uses firebolt towards the statue, wild magic ensues, and he will feel melechonc
under moonlight, thankfully absent.
• Fred runs up to the statue and attacks it with his great sword, misses.
• The circle forces Galvna to move outside the circle.
• Apparently, making the crystal taller will help, especially as the top of the crystal
glows more brightly the further up it is.
• Galvna runs to one of the squares, crystal moves.
• Oswin runs up to one of the sqauares, jumps in it before shooting another with his
crossbow.

Session 15
• The puzzle has been retconned, completed off screen and we collect the loot known as
Crimson Nights Bane Dagger.
• Barry takes the Crimson Nights Bane Dagger.
• Part climb up out of the pit and Galvna mines the walls for gems.
• Party return to the room with the deck of many where Barry picks up another card
much to the party’s horror.
• Barry now is in an arranged marriage with an evil woman who he marries to stop an
even greater evil (unknown woman).
• Barry also can now cause pain to all targets within sight, no range, with concentration.
• Barry causes pain to Oswin.
• Barry wants Oswin to pick up a card, Galvna hides.
• Barry decides to collect the rest of the cards so that Oswin can forge them into a
weapon at some point.
• Party leave the cave and pass the waterfall.
• Party head back to the road and walk westward.
• Make their way to the next town, in front of a small mountain range that connects to
the Jade mount.
• See a town that sticks out on our side of the mountain range.
• The town has several dwarves.
• Barry wants to cause the dwarves pain, only to be stopped by a mysterious voice.
• Protective wall and several small mined out caves, a glow in both entrances with
several gems.
• Several housing areas.
• Town is Coalscars.
• Wall made of several bits of stone and pillars of wood, patrolled by several dwarves
and a few gnomes.
• Abuzz of activity.
• Oswin don’t know them, Galvna recognise them as mountain dwarves.
• One tall dwarf is pulling a cart along.
• A busy place.
• Galvna greets the guards, all of the party apart from Barry can speak Dwarvish.
• Barry casts mage hand in order to do a thumbs up.
• Another guard comes along and says that there been issues recently.
• Don’t want to mention adventurers so calls the party travellers.
• There is a bag of pure gold going about somewhere.
• Cart with a motor has dissapeared within the mine, a group went in a week ago after it
an wasn’t heard from again.
• There is a forge within a sister city on the other side of a mine.
• Dwarf want to come with us if we go in to retrieve the missing cart.
• Without the transport through the mountain, the town will starve.
• Need a couple of days to get ready.
• Party needs health potions.
• Party drags Barry away form the guard.
• Dwarf is called Thermite.
• Galvna is going to the Spa, Oswin will arrange rooms as the inn after they go to the
potions shop.

Session 16
• Two players missing.
• Galvna went to the spa, she collected several gems from the shaft earlier (6 jades
(30gp each), 3 diamonds (45gp each), 12 geodes (10gp each, can be processed into
gems with jewellers kit), 24 bismuth (1gp each), 4 large opals (255gp each) Fires
Chronicle Ruby (magic item, atunement, 3 times per session you may add 1d6 fire
damage to your attacks, this also converts all damage dealt by that weapon into fire
damage, must be attached to weapon).
• Oswin takes 3 diamonds, 1 large opal, 3 geodes, the fire ruby, 6 bismuth, 2 jade.
Galvna has 2 jades, 1 large opal, 3 geodes, 6 bismuth. Barry and Fred have 1 large
opal 6 bismuth, 1 jade and 3 geodes each.
• Party went to the shops, Oswin buying healing potions, Galvna sees a strange crystal
on the front part of the train.
• Galvna looks at what the train is decorated with, including a hammer and anvil
emblem, written underneath is Hammer Gem Forge.
• Health potions, 10 healing potions (20gp each), Oswin buys all of them.
• Oswin finds splint armour made for a dwarf, able to buy it for 150gp and it will be
adjusted.
• Smith thinks there might be other item Oswin might be interested in, pulls out a chest.
• Oswin sees magic armour and weapons inside, feels a slight pull of magic curse on
them, (change AC to 19 normally, turn to 20 when wearing splint armour), (712gp –
150gp = 562gp). Oswin touches Reckless Charm and it attaches to him (while
wearing, your attacks have advantage, but enemy attacks have advantage as well.
Need item of reluctance to remove it).
• Dwarf interested in the cards Barry has, dwarf is not a dwarf, everything has an odd
look to it with interesting things in it, Galvna is affected as well.
• Former dwarf talks to Galvna, Oswin forgets that he had touched the item and starts
thinking that he was given it by family members. Galvna has picked up a bracelet, and
she gets a niggling feeling and she shuts the box while putting herself between Oswin
and the box.
• Reluctance can be an enchantment or some plants that can give that affect.
• Galvna closes the chest and from her perspective nothing happens, we are now
standing in a corner. It is one of those shops, both hear a voice saying Fey.
• Oswin immediately knows the memories about family giving item to him is fake.
• Fey will give but also take.
• Oswin has the splint armour on, feels a poke and is revealed to be a business card
‘Salrezx’, other side has the magical symbol for fire.
• Galvna has a brace of barrier, feels a strange pull on her right hand, both note a
gnarled peached hand as she has an extra hand.
• The arm is independently minded with the voice in her head sounding different.
• The voice speaking through Galvna denies to Oswin about the third arm.
• Galvna is told that if the voice dies, she dies but it doesn’t need her alive to live.
• Galvna needs to have ground rules with the voice.
• Oswin feels like something is looking at him, Galvna is now able to see out of her
extra hand.
• Galvna faints as she cannot process the sight input, but she is still standing up and
walks away without saying anything.
• Oswin sees her walk away with her eyes close, but the extra hand is there and guiding
her, decides he’s seen enough weird shit for the day.
• Galvna has a vision of a humanoid smoke figure.
• Galvna and figure talk.
• Figure says its an evolution, and that they need to talk to one another.
• Galvna says it was sheer luck that the figure came out her, it claims otherwise.
• The figure says Galvna seems trustworthy.
• Figure can’t leave Galvna.
• Figure returning Galvna to where she initially was, Galvna wake up as she is in the
middle of the tavern.
• Galvna starts drinking.
• The figure seems genuine, but Galvna doesn’t trust it.

Session 17
• Unidentified magic shield is a shield of Brutality (when someone makes an attack
against you and misses, you may use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack
against them).
• Barry doesn’t understand how the magic of the cards will not work as intended.
• Time passes at the inn, Barry wants to throw a fireball at the inn, the party convince
him otherwise.
• Barry makes a comment about dead wives to Oswin, Oswin vows to add ‘Tha an
duine seo na dhath de chuibhreannan mora’ (this man is a twat of epic proportions) to
the rapier Barry wants him to make for him.
• Galvna doesn’t have an extra arm, but a hand reaches out from the shadows to aid her,
the shadow arm has an eyeball.
• Barry and Fred see the shadow arm.
• Barry and Oswin argue, Barry nearly throws the cards, but restrains.
• Party having drinks, bar filled with mostly dwarves, some gnomes and halflings.
• Party make way down mine in the evening.
• Party make way to the train with several dwarves around it.
• Party meets Thermite.
• Introduced to the pump engine that is 30 years old and covered in dust.
• Party needs to find a missing train.
• Thermite orders them to get ahold of pickaxes and hammers and shovels.
• Thermite warns of the dangers in the mines, Barry says something stupid and
Thermite hits him with his warhammer.
• Barry sits in dining cart to summon his bat while others head to storage to get the
hammers, pickaxes and shovels.
• Storage has stone dwarves, and some dreugr (the party know them)
• Fred uses a magic check, sees them as True Neutral.
• One dreugr walks off after saying something in under common.
• The two leave, known as Hakor and Mute.
• Oswin takes a pick and a shovel.
• Party enter the dining cart.
• Dining cart is opulent.
• Barry meets Digs the dwarf.
• They hit it off.
• Party enter and greet Digs.
• Hakor is not an actual Dreugr but is a half-dwarf.
• Mute is known as Mally and is strange.
• Barry comes back in.
• Mally is psycopathic.
• Party sit down to eat.
• Digs says he’s going to go colouring, party understand its up to magic, Galvna is able
to understand that it uses magic to make food.
• Dwarves start setting things up, now everything is serious and ready to go.
• Party go get some sleep as train sets off.

Session 18
• Party is awakened by a bell.
• Barry tries to get Digs to draw a card from the deck of many, Oswin and Galvna stop
him.
• Party move to the front of the train and start working.
• Train moving at a relative pace.
• Party eventually comes across something interesting, Barry sees the cave open up and
become quite colourful and shutters on the other end.
• Train comes to a stop at a station.
• Station under construction but empty.
• There is an area on the other side of the tacks that has something on it.
• Investigate area, see a camp.
• Fire is cold and a sour smelling soup inside a large couldron.
• Very much the missing dwarf party.
• Barry sends his familiar to follow the footprints.
• Party search tents, Barry finds mouldy food, Fred finds an open backpack with
searched through items, Oswin and Galuna find bags filled with notes, letters and
notated writings along with 50ft rope, commoners clothes, 2 daggers each, 10 pittons
each, 3 days of rations each, 10ft fuse each, assortment of 5 tubes of gunpowder, 5
blasting caps and 5 small charges each (if combined creates 5 sticks of dynamite).
• Notes are from a dwarf known as Kino, some form of Druid, each are signed Pam,
keen cartographer.
• The map says ‘They’re in the walls’.
• Barry suddenly feels his familiar dissapear.
• Barry overdramatically reacts before telling the rest of the party.
• Party think to go up the stairs and follow the footsteps.
• Stairs are dark, Oswin shoots his beacon bow up the stairs, goes up a long way before
stopping.
• No dust on the stairs.
• Party lift the grate blocking the stairs before ascending the stairway.
• Stairs are steep and it turns.
• Galvna starts climbing, the stairs seems to be half constructed and a rough look.
• The rest of the party ascend as well.
• See a landing with light and noise.
• Digs think they are speaking under common.
• There’s six of them with some common mixed in, four dead two alive, might be eight,
a leader sounds posh (drow), seven dreuger and one drow.
• Plan to go in and kill the lot.
• Soon as party hear the Fred activates his sacred sword, they burst into an empty room.

Session 19
• Party burst into room and start attacking.
• Several Dreuger and one Drow.
• Fred charges Drow and attacks, miss, the drow side steps out of the way.
• Barry uses magnify gravity upon a group of dreuger around a table, causes immediate
instability and collapses one side of the room, killing the dreuger but causing the
room to start collapsing.
• Barry then uses his bat familiar to fly around the drow as a distraction.
• Galvna rages and attacks a dreuger, hits.
• Oswin runs up to another dreuger and hits him.
• Mute runs up to the prison, the two dreuger attack and miss him.
• Digs shouts at Barry for his attack.
• Two dreuger attack Oswin, one misses, but the other critical hits him.
• The other dreuger attacks and misses Galvna.
• The drow attacks Fred, hits and poisons him.
• Floor continues to collapse, with Fred and drow caught up in it.
• Both Fred and the drow fall into the abyss.
• As they fall, Fred breaths fire at the drow, hits her and they continue to fall.
• Barry looks for the keys to the cage, but just remembers that the drow had the keys.
• Barry then talks to the prisoners, one dwarf and one human, both staring at Barry.
• Oswin translates for Barry, but the dwarf doesn’t want to deal with Barry, so Barry
uses Vortext teleport on the human prisoner. (DM and Barry’s player nearly kills me
with asthma induced laughter and hay fever blocked nose).
• The human is passed out.
• Barry then leaves and checks on the unconcious person.
• Galvna is still raging, runs up to the cage and tries to ben the metal, succeeds and
allows the dwarf prisoner to get out.
• Galvna attacks the dreuger, the dreuger tries to push the prisoner into the hole but
Galvna stops him.
• Oswin drinks a healing potion and kills one dreuger, and is able to move away from
the other dreuger and escapes the attack of opportunity.
• Mute runs up and slaughters the remaining dreuger.
• Mute then runs up towards the hole and slams a piston into the wall that spools out
rope.
• The hole expands and Mute and the dwarf prisoner both fall into the hole.
• Both Galvna and Oswin run out of the room.
• It’s not a good sight down the stairs, the portcullis is fallen on the stairs, Oswin
throws it open and they all run out of the stairs as it caves in.
• Fred and the drow are in a dim cave in an underground lake.
• The drow is looking at Fred.
• Drow is pissed.
• Fred and the Drow call a truce as they would be in danger.
• Both hear a whistling in the background as Mute arrives.
• Mute starts speaking draconic.
• The dwarf prisoner falls and is pissed and alive.

• Fred and Barry’s players missing.
• Digs returns after ten minuets, Barry being dragged by his leg carelessly.
• Party talk after calming down with Barry still being unconcious.
• Galvna wants to get the Deck of Many Things from Barry’s person and burn them.
• Galvna believe the cards have cursed the group.
• Dig spends 25 minuets constructing 5 sticks of dynamite.
• Galvna takes the Deck of Many in it’s cloth and places them in the circle of dynamite.
• The cloth opens up and one of the cards turns over, it is a red moon, turning Galvna
into a werebear.
• Oswin hears a whoosh before Galvna returns.
• Digs lights the dynamite and they all run for it.
• Dynamite explode and they all hear firework noises, so they take cover.
• The fireworks are the cards and they all shatter, they are no more.
• The cards would have done much worse had they been made into a weapon.
• Galvna and Oswin finds items from the explosion, Galvna stone chippings, Oswin
finds Derainix (price 15gp per quality (quality 5), hard white gem that cold, shining
and natural)
• Enter a tunnel, facing a large pile of rubble with light at the end of it.
• They move towards the rubble, hear clicking and talking in a language that they have
never heard of before.
• From the rubble appear several figures, all of them with arrows.
• The figures shoot arrows, one hitting Galvna with the others landing at the feet of
Digs and Oswin.
• A large figure approaches looking like a war forge.
• Figure starts talking.
• Bandits want us to hand over our money.
• Oswin talks to bandits and Galvna runs forward and throws a javelin at the bandit
leader, hits.
• Galvna climbs rubble.
• Oswin shoots his crossbow at the leader, hits and he runs up rubble.
• Digs runs up rubble to be next to Oswin, lighting a Molotov cocktail, throws it at the
area where the leader is, he is affected with one other bandit, leader taking damage
with other bandit taking half.
• Bandits turn to shoot their bows at the party, with the leader running out of the flames.
• Two bandits shoot Galvna, hit.
• Two bandits shoot Oswin, fail.
• Two bandits shoot Digs, hit with one crit.
• Leader shoots Oswin, crit hit.
• Galvna runs up to give the leader 1000sp (equivilant to 100gp).
• Leader takes it and promises not to attack Galvna, Oswin refuses to give his gold.
• Digs has pulled out a small pouch and tossed it at the leader.
• Galvna gives anther 1000sp to the leader and passes another 1000sp to exchange for
100gp.
• Leader admits that he is not a good at leading a bandit group.
• Leader wanted to hijack the train, but found the party instead.
• Leader sends the bandits away, the leader then continue talking until Galvna tells him
to leave and he does.
• The light dissapears.
• Oswin gives Galvna 1000sp.
• Party carries on through the cravas, sees junk, smells that the bandits were here for a
couple of weeks.
• Bandits are gone.
• The tunnel is not complete enough for a train to get through.
• Party would need to walk, decide to investigate where the bandits went.
• Digs talk about the fact that its dangerous to wander around the cave, that natural
stone golems come out of the ground and walls in this area.
• Galvna reveals that one of the maps states that ‘they’re coming out of the walls’
• Abandoning the mission is not an option, so they carrying on in the hopes that things
will be alright.
• Party decide to go back to the train to rest before getting everybody before going
ahead.
• Digs is wondering how to break it to the other dwarves, Oswin dosen’t care and heads
off to rest and heal.
• Digs goes to break the news as all the dwarves are shouting.
• Galvna goes to rest.
• Galvna pokes Barry as Oswin is asleep.
• 100gp is now 50gp.
• Party level up to level 5.

Session 21
• Fred has travelled through the Underdark for at least a day.
• After dealing with several dangers and nearly dying several times.
• Fred has found a way back to where the other dwarves are, but its through a waterfall.
• Fred manages to climb up the waterfall with his own party, coming to a place where
he finds some old gate drainage and manage to fall out onto the track.
• Looks up and sees a hole about 50ft up going up to the surface with the rain coming
through, a breathing hole.
• Everyone is soaked, hungry and tired.
• Captured dwarf is Pam, expert cartographer.
• No idea where the train is, makes a camp and Fred uses his fire breath to heat the
rocks up.
• After trudging through the tunnel, comes upon rubble and sees a little path.
• Drow is female and not all that bad.
• Come out into a lit room, finds themselves back in the station with the train there.
• Sees the party standing around chatting about recent adventures.
• Barry is tied up and having a stroke (player missing)
• Drow is meeting the rest of the party.
• Fred has a look at the unconcious human.
• Galvna inquires what is coming out of the walls, Pam replies t was too dark.
• First it was like we had our torches on but then they went out instantly.
• Whatever attacked Pam was fast, not earth elementals.
• Fred decides not to heal Barry and goes over to heal the unconcious human.
• Train can’t travel in either direction, something fast and hostile and limited supplies.
• Fred came from the area where the hostile being was from.
• Drow doesn’t want to go home to the Underdark, she will travel with the party.
• Fred comments about having a pet Drow, the drow is not happy, is called Nora
Dearkaulcuss.
• Rescued tall dwarf is called Tall.
• After everyone has rested up, party get up and start walking.
• Three group are left behind while another three go back, leaving the party and some
others to carry on.
• Party figures out how to go down the tunnel.
• Galvna keeps close to Pam.
• Pam is continueing to chart out a map.
• Pam and Galvna strike up a conversation.
• After a little while the track starts taking a bend, the darkness and blue fungal light
appear.
• Go further into the darkness, something feels off.
• Pam stops Galvna, whispers “don’t move”
• Something lands and is observing the group.
• Several figures move out of the darkness, moving very fast before silence again.
• Presence felt before has gone, its playing with you.
• Oswin is reminded of his initial encounter with a vampire.
• Several more hours later the tracks clear up a bit.
• Area opens up.
• Hear and feel the prescence again.
• Galvna’s partner is called Sam.
• Shadows flit closer before silence again.
• Galvna blinks and sees a pale grey room and sees Sam.
• Sam says they are skinny elven like beings, dims the room.
• Party carry on, no sign of bodies that should be there.
• Feet come again, Fred uses devine sense and sees that they are undead, they don’t
seem to be around the size of a dwarf or a human, start hearing laughter.
• Fred channels divinity into his great sword.
• ‘So many new feasts’
• Voice starts taunting the party, Oswin able to recognise the voice as a vampire.
• Oswin shoots his beacon bow to see what’s there, several vampires on the walls with
the leader the furthest back.
• Vampire continue to taunt Oswin and wants him to kill the others, Oswin rejects them
and is worried for his son.
• Vampires disappear.
• Party comforts Oswin before carrying on.
• Oswin sees a blood splattered shirt, he picks it up an sees his son’s name embroided
on it.
• Vampire taunts Oswin.
• Apparently vampires hired bandits to kidnap Svann for some reason, possibly in
league with Lord John.
• Start seeing a blood trail.
• Find a pool and a spike sticking up with a head on looking like Svann, finds the face
is missing and the hair is a wig, several blonde hair underneath.
• Vampire taunts and party carries on and sees a woman with a very vague resemblance
to Oswin’s dead wife with a hole in her chest.
• See a shovel and a shallow grave.
• Vampire taunts Oswin and lights appea all over the area which is a cross roads for the
tracks with stands all over the place.
• Several undead dwarves sitting in the stands.
• See a final light showing a gangling 6 ½ foot vampire.
• Vampire’s teeth don’t seem to match.
• Vampire wants a show and send the undead dwarves to head towards the party.
• Vampire says if Oswin defeats him then he will tell him everything including where
his son is.
• The Vampire is known as the Smile.
• The cave shakes and Solomon drops down from the ceiling, ready to help the party.

Session 22
• Battle against Smile and his undead horde begins.
• Barry’s player is here.
• Fred runs up to some undead in the stands and attacks one, hits before using his flame
breath to hit more with one avoiding his attack.
• Galvna runs up to other undead and attacks, misses. Attacks again and hits it.
• Oswin runs up to Fred to attack the undead, misses twice. Zombie looks surprised
before shrugging shoulders and attacks.
• Barry uses sword song before casting fireball at the undead on the other stand, kills
two instantly before running closer to the rocks where the reserves are hiding in.
• Solomon runs up towards the group before shooting the zombie in front of Galvna,
killing it, Solomon shoots another zombie.
• Reserves have set up an escape route.
• Skeletons rise up out of holes to join the fight.
• Zombies start to run towards the group along with the skeletons.
• Zombie attacks Solomon, misses.
• Zombie attacks Galvna and critical hits, with another zombie attacking and hitting.
• Zombie attacks Oswin, misses and Oswin misses an attack against it.
• Zombies attack Fred, hit.
• Vampire starts summoning something.
• Fred hits a zombie and kills it before using turn undead.
• Zombie running from Galvna is hit by an attack.
• Zombie is hit by Fred as it runs away.
• Fred runs towards more zombies.
• Galvna attacks the zombie next to her, misses, attacks again and misses.
• Oswin runs up to the zombie attacking Galvna, kills it instantly.

• Barry uses Magnify gravity on three zombies and a skelleton, collapsing the floor near

• The floor starts cracking.

• Vampire summons something and a clawed hand comes up from the ground and the
holes dissapear as a wererat appears.

Session 23
• Galvna’s player missing.
• Off screen Galvna kills two zombies.
• Fred attacks Wererat, hits once and misses another.
• Barry casts Tasha’s mind whip on the wererat, runs away but crit fails getting hit by
several tentrils from the wererat.
• Oswin attacks the undead in front of him, kills it, runs up to one of the undead around
Solomon and kills it.
• Solomon tries casting a spell, only for wild magic to occur and he somehow has a
third eye (wisdom saves), a special shield (+2 AC and immunity to magic missile) and
summoned a hellhound. (Consequences that will be bad)
• One zombie dies as a result.
• Drow, digs and mute all attack zombie.
• One zombie chases after Barry.
• Wererat attacks Fred, misses all with one crit fail that has it under an effect of a Bane
spell.
• Zombie attacks Fred and hits.
• Zombie moves up to Oswin, misses and gets massacred.
• Smiles does something, everything falls silent and zombies and wererat dissapates
into a primordial soup.
• Smiles then joins the fight, disappearing and appearing next to Barry.
• Barry says Smiles is ugly and Smiles tells him to shut up.
• Smiles attacks Barry but Barry has cast shield upon himself, saving him.
• Smiles attacks again twice and they hit and Barry is on death saving throws.
• Smiles moves up to Fred, bowing to him in preparation to attack.
• Fred attacks twice, hits once with divine smite and destroys a quarter of Smile’s hp.
• Fred then uses lay on hands on himself.
• Oswin runs as close as he could to Barry and throws a healing potion on him, reviving
him.
• Solomon puts the hangman’s noose down and draws out a sword and stake.
• Solomon runs up and attacks Smiles, misses.
• Smiles retaliates and gets a crit hit, killing Solomon.
• Smiles flicks Solomon off of him and throws him into the hole.

Session 24
• Galvna runs up behind the vampire and attacks, misses and vampire attacks back,
misses.
• Galvna attacks again and hits.
• Barry casts haste on Fred, he then uses a healing potion on himself before hiding
behind Oswin.
• Oswin is terrified but thanks to Barry runs up to the vampire and attacks, hits, tries to
hit again but misses.
• Fred attacks, misses, attacks again and hits with a divine smite, causing the vampire to
be bloodied.
• Must runs up to the vampire and attacks, misses.
• Digs runs up into another area and the drow runs up to the vampire and misses an
attack.
• Vampire then attacks Oswin, hits, attacks Galvna, hits, attacks Fred, hits.
• Vampire dissapears, reappearing behind Barry, attacks up misses three times.
• Vampire taunts Barry, but Barry taunts back.
• Galvna runs up to the vampire and attacks, hits twice.
• The Vampire’s eyes start glowing green before attacking Galvna, misses.
• Vampire complains and Barry continues to taunt him.
• Barry uses Tasha’s Mind Whip on the Vampire, hits him but only does physical
damage.
• Vampire attacks Barry, misses two, about to hit once but Barry uses Shield to defend
himself again.
• Oswin drinks a healing potion, runs up to the vampire and misses, vampire attacks,
misses, leading to a situation of both Oswin and Vampire taking swipes at each other

• The vampire is in torpor, with Barry taking its teeth (21 teeth) before Fred uses a

• A beam of light appears from the hole Solomon came in from and bathes the party in
light, the others see something with Fred hearing Bahamut talking to him.
• Bright light shines in a thunderclap before vanishing, leaving a circle where the
vampire was with a layer of platinum.
• Barry tries to take the platinum, but finds that his hand keeps his hand away as the site
is now a holy site.
• Find two duelling pistols, and party take a short rest.
• Fred hears Bahmut talking to him, wants an offering.
• Fred talks to Bahamut about the hang man’s noose, we need to get rid of it.
• Hangman’s noose is now wrapped in a platinum cloth.
• After looking around, find several clothes and several items of great interest.
• Find a name that Oswin finds familiar.

• Oswin takes the diamond, Lord Hershel’s longer sword, potion of relenting speed.
• Barry takes a ruby, book of the hex knight, puts on the jet amulet, runes of the fire

• Galvna takes talisman of the fang, log of the caber, potion of relenting speed
• Fred takes the rod of the Crockett,

• Oswin uses potion to remove talisman, the talisman then turns into Slayers Charm (3
charges, expend a charge to gain advantage until your next turn, regain 1d3 charges
after a long rest)
• Barry can take a slice of the hangman’s noose which is gnarled oak, does so, along
with blessed silver bullets to become dust, with the new moon in place, combines
them into Nightmares Hour, a sword.
• Continue long march forward in the tunnels.
• Every hour, digs says what hour it is.
• A week of travel, the party smells.
• After the third day the party sees a light in the distance, see a train.
• No one on the train, clear sign of struggle.
• Barry see the train is still operational, almost feels alive.
• The previous crew were turned into undead abominations that the party had fought
before killing the vampire.
• Barry upset Digs.
• Digs throws a hammer at Barry, misses.
• Barry gets on the train and party talk in dwarvish about possibly leaving Barry
behind.
• Digs operates the train.
• Sound makes the party feel awful.
• Inside cabin has a limo style interior with tables and a bar.
• Barry asks about the interior and Oswin says he doesn’t know what he is talking about
and doesn’t care as he just goes to a seat and falls asleep on one.

Session 25
• Orb of Crazed ideal to Galvna along with the 23 vials of blood.
• On the train, now cured of wither, travelled for 3 days.
• After 2 weeks, we make our way through the underground to the other side of the
mountain.
• Come to a wide bend and into a yard like area.
• Train comes to a halt and Mute and Digs explain that we are in the town of The
Forge.
• Oswin wants to find a forge.
• Town is not a dwarf town anymore.
• All get off the train.
• Oswin goes to the Lava Forge, Fred goes to an armourer and Barry goes to dance
outside a church.
• Oswin sees a statue spewing liquified gold, statue is of the god of the forge and god of
war locking arms together.
• Sees a hallway with intense light called Lava Forge with dwarfish letters saying ‘May
the earth bring forth strength’.
• Oswin enters the lava forge, finds a circular room with several prongs over a pit of
lava.
• The area is a communal space.
• Oswin starts forging, melting down the scrap metal and pours it into a mold.
• Barry starts to preform, knows the legendary figure whom the church is dedicated to
(an orc warrior fighting off an invasion of demons and became a god).
• Barry uses his sword to toss copper pieces into peoples hands.
• He also uses silent image and mirrors image to make copies of himself preforming.
• The bishop then approaches Barry and he preforms the best preformance.
• Audience applaud Barry and Bishop asks Barry to join her.
• Fred at armourers, meets a scarred Legolas figure with shaggy hair and beard.
• Fred wants either Splint or plate armour.
• Fred and armourer talk.
• Armour called Jazzig.
• The plate armour may contain Feather Fall in the armour.

Session 26
• Jade neckless is cursed, possibly doing magic is either good or bad.
• Galvna is getting a bath at an inn.
• Oswin forges Lava flame even longer sword (+2 to ht/1d8/1d10v + 1d4 fire)
• Barry is now inside the cathedral by the bishop.
• The god is called Sek’kuar.
• There is a combat arena in the cathedral.
• Bishop starts explaining her faith to Barry, and he starts annoying her.
• Bishop brought Barry inside because his dance is similar to a fighting style.
• Barry and Bishop agree that making holes in the floor is very fun.
• Barry has no idea of who the Goddess of the Weave is as he has a minor stroke.
• Goddess of the Weave is a primordial deity of magic.
• Bishop explains magic and her faith to Barry.

Session 27
• Party in Forge
• Party return to the inn.
• Digs serves drinks.
• Town was founded on a pool of lava.
• Digs looks at a direction and says he hears his wife calling.
• Barry is fully paradise (player missing) but party assumed he pissed someone off.
• A Gnome joins them at the table, has a maskarade mask.
• Gnome asks a question, inquires about Solomon.
• Gnome asks party to follow him.
• Oswin drags Barry up to his room by the scruff of the neck and throws him on the
bed.
• Gnome looks a little shock at the treatment but ignores it.
• Fred gives him the hangman’s noose.
• Gnome locks the door then hammers it shut.
• Gnome said the Organisation has received the news of Solomon’s death.
• Oswin want’s to know the connection to the vampires to his family.
• Gnome explains that Oswin’s father worked for the army, but then worked for a
different army, a unit that were Slayers (vampire slayer)
• Oswin’s father killed the sire of Esther, she might believe Oswin and his family are
still slayers.
• Oswin’s father sworn to secrecy.
• May be a connection between Steorradun and the vampires, or even Goodhall name.
• A bounty has been put on the parties head, Oswin knew about one from Steorradun
but the others are confused.
• Gnome brings out wanted posters with good portraits on them.
• The raiser of the bounty is unknown with 1250 platinum pieces each dead, 7000
platinum alive amount of reward.
• 7 vampire lords, 1 dead, 5 completely evil, 1 descent (Lord Dracule, who offers
money to have blood donated to him).
• Blood of humans is rather moreish.
• The bounty can be gotten rid of by the Organisation, but will take time which party
doesn’t have.
• Party looks at jobs they still need to do, Oswin to rescue his son from vampires and
his daughter form lord Steorradun, Galvna to find her father, Barry to find his brother
and Fred to throw the hangman’s noose into the sea.
• Gnome proposes that party carry on and not stay too long in an area, but be aware of
bounty hunters.
• Party is within their rights to defend themselves as bounty not exactly legal as there is
no claimant.
• Destination on bounty is at the bottom, known as the the grey willow forest.
• Oswin knows of the place as a secluded place filled with willow trees, once inhabited
by druids but not anymore due to the great pilgramage to the Jade Mountain.
• Gnome wants party to move during the night.
• Gnome can’t join them, but theres someone who can.
• Party just learn that the amulet around Barry’s neck is cursed.
• Solomon felt sorry for Barry and brought him into the organisation.
• Gnome is annoyed about the fact that theres no removed curse.
• Party will have to carry Barry.
• Gnome informs them that the curse won’t transfer to others and to expect weird things
to happen to him.
• The gnome has a mild aneurism after hearing about Barry’s idiocy.
• Gnome leaves before the revelations of party’s curses are revealed.
• Party knows about Sam with Galvna, but she reveals that she has a werebear curse.
• Galvna has an argument with Sam which party can’t see or hear Sam’s responses.
• Party is greatly concerned about the werebear curse, particularly the first

• Galvna is outed for wanting to be a werebear as her family see it as a blessing, party
thinks what is wrong with her family.
• Sam complains about the fact that he’s stuck with a werebear.
• Galvna goes to sleep while Oswin and Fred discuss what they will do in preparation
for the time Galvna turns.
• Galvna and Sam converse about what they need to do to control the werebear.

• Barry and Galvna want to sneak out, Barry has to roll dice twice.

• There is somebody downstairs who will help party to get out.

• Barry crosses the bridge and rat people appear, Barry misty steps back to the party.
• Five rat men and one rat ogre.
• Rat men attack, one throws a bomb which Barry and Galvna is able to survive while
Oswin and Samantha suffer.
• One rat man runs up to Barry.

• The rat man next to Barry ends up stabbing himself.

when crossing dimensions.

• Zombies move around to line up a shot, shoot Galvna and harm her, shoot at Oswin
but miss, shoot at Oswin and hit.
• Zombies attack Barry, Barry cast shield to defend himself.
• Spell caster uses lightning bolt, Barry is able to dodge it by gains damage by it.
• Zombies are struck by the lightning, but nothing apparently happens.
• Barry uses misty step to get behind the spell caster and attacks with his swords, Spell
caster casts shield and survives.
• Galvna runs up to a zombie and attacks, fails and is stuck by another zombie, attacks

• Galvna turns into her were bear form before attacking the zombie in front of her,
misses and she attacks again, killing it.
• The zombie raises again.
• Oswin runs up to Spell caster and attacks it, hits.
• Oswin hits it again and kills it.
• Spell caster says thank you as he dies with the other zombies dies.
• The body turns to ash leaving a single orb.
• Barry wants the orb.
• Galvna is speaking but is raging in her were bear form.

squelch and see this odd dark purple colour, feeling a strange sensation and notice

• Party see a host of evil creatures around the castle, zombie soldiers aiming guns at us

the general tries to counter spell but fails and a fog cloud forms as Barry runs back

• Barry’s curse means that he can not get a bath or get wet.
• Oswin wants Galvna to go and have fire at training, but as she has two pistols Oswin
gives the four barrelled pistol to Barry for an even playing field.
• During fire arm practice, Galvna accidentally wounds Barry again as bullet ricochets
everywhere.
• Fred heals Barry and Barry leaves the training room.
• Oswin and Fred stand behind Galvna.
• Barry goes to see Maria.
• Galvna continues to shoot at the target.
• Fred leaves the training room and goes after Barry.
• Galvna stops shooting and Oswin goes to get a bath.

• Green guard now focuses on Oswin.

• Solomon takes a shot at Esther, but he forgot to load the gun.

• Esther then appears next to Oswin and Fred, claws appearing on her hands.
• Esther attacks both Oswin and Fred, misses Oswin and Oswin counters but is
countered, misses Fred.
• Esther tries to grapple Fred but is thrown off.
• Four pillars of red light appear around Esther, Fred and Oswin.

• Oswin misses his attacks on Esther.
• Oswin then uses Armour of Agathys and increases his hit points.
• Solomon drops his sword and attacks one of the thralls, kills one before killing
another.
• Maria heals Galvna, before missing the thrall on her left.
• Sam floats into the green guard.
• Thralls run away from Fred with green guard running out of the door.
• Esther attacks Fred and Oswin, but Oswin counter attacks and hits her while Fred still
has his sword inside her. (Party gain inspiration).
• Esther tries attacking Oswin again, but is counter attacked and hit again.
• Esther attacks Fred, hits and Fred sees a horrifying visage of a beastial visage for a
brief moment.

Session 41
• Barry’s daily curse, any money he gets and doesn’t spend in the same day ends up
disappearing.
• Barry pops out of the bag of holding.
• Fred attacks Esther with his sword still inside her, hits, attacks again and hits.
• Esther’s orb jitters harder.
• Galvna attacks Esther, misses twice.
• Oswin attacks Esther, misses twice.
• Barry casts haste on himself along with bladesong, runs around one zombie attacking
Solomon and attacks, hits, and uses booming blade, kills it.
• Barry then runs up towards the vampire but sees a door and decides to look inside and
see a horde of zombies and decides to close the door.
• Solomon kills the last zombie attacking him and starts running towards Galvna.
• Maria moves to imprison vampire and attacks, misses twice.
• Of the zombies, only three overcome their fear while one ends up killing itself in their
fear with the last running out the door.
• Zombies attack and miss their targets.
• Esther attacks Fred and hits but Barry’s silvery barb saves Fred.
• Esther attacks Fred again and hits.
• Esther’s form change to a bat like creature for a brief moment as she grapples Fred.
• Esther bites Fred and attempts to mind control him but he resists.
• Fred reverse the grapple and holds Esther, her beastial form is revealed as a bat like
monster.
• Fred uses his breath weapon to breathe fire directly in her face, hits.
• Galvna attacks and hits Esther.
• Oswin attacks Esther twice but miss, so he goes to his son and starts pulling him off
of it, succeeds.
• Barry runs up to Svan and uses a healing potion, saving his life before telling Oswin
about the approaching hoard of zombies before running up to Esther and attacks with
tasha’s mind whip, hitsbefore attacking with his sword, hits, uses booming blade and
hits.
• Barry has successfully killed Esther, making mincemeat of the vampire.
• All zombies die and Fred stakes the body of the vampire.
• Fred takes Esther’s body outside which weather has cleared up and the body starts to
wither, Fred uses holy water before praying to Bahamut.
• Esther’s body is taken into the ground with silver chains.
• The human staff of Esther are now free of her enslavement.
• One of the staff members wants to blow up the castle.
• If the throne is blown up, the evil will be gone and the castle can be taken.
• Fred is informed that there are loads of spirits in the basement that need help.
• Fred goes to the basement.
• The basement has a sea of corpses.
• Can either blow up the castle and set the spirits free and angry or get a load of holy
people to put the spirits to rest.
• Solomon and Maria will return back to the Organisation.
• Solomon gives a sending stone to the party.
