and the maximum capacity per chassis is 9.6 Tbit/s@2 U.
• Different types of client-side services occupy different numbers of timeslots when they
are mapped into ODUflex signals in standard mode. The following table lists the
number of timeslots occupied by each service type.
FC800 7
FC1600 12
FC3200 23

• The ODUk rates are approximately 10,037,273.924 kbit/s (ODU2), 40,319,218.983 kbit/s
(ODU3), 10,399,525.316 kbit/s (ODU2e), and 104,794,445.815 kbit/s (ODU4).
• Extended C-band 96-wavelength systems consist of odd and even wavelengths. The
details are as follows:
• After users log in to the device, the displayed command line prompt indicates that they
have entered the command line interface (CLI). The CLI is a common tool for managing
a device.
• An SNMP system consists of four key components: network management station (NMS),
agent, management object, and management information base (MIB).

• When the WDM-side port works in 200G_QPSK or 200G_wDCM_QPSK mode, the board
can perform mutual conversion between two 100GE optical signals and one OTUC2
signal received on the client side.
• When working in 400G_16QAM mode, the MS04 board can implement bidirectional
regeneration of one OTUC4 signal.
• When the MS04 board functions as a regeneration board and ESC communication is
used, a pair of boards must be inserted in adjacent paired slots.
• Support the following functions and features: WDM specifications, ESC, ALS (Supported
on the client side), IPA, LS, Latency measurement, LLDP, Loopback, Service auto-sensing,
Test frame (Supported when the client-side service type is 100GE).
• MD60 is a 60-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer board. It can multiplex/demultiplex 60
optical signals and can be expanded to multiplex/demultiplex 120 optical signals.

• The MD60 board is a 60-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer board. It multiplexes 60
optical signals over an ITU-T-compliant WDM wavelength into one optical signal and
demultiplexes one signal into 60 optical signals over an ITU-T-compliant WDM
wavelength. Two MD60 boards can be used together to multiplex/demultiplex 120
optical signals.
• Spectrum application:Supports Super C band.
• UMD40 is a 40-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer board. It can multiplex/demultiplex
40 optical signals and can be expanded to multiplex/demultiplex 80 optical signals.

• EMR8 is an enhanced 8-port optical add/drop multiplexer line board.
• EMR8: five-in-one optical line board that integrates five functional modules: OA, XFIU,
OSC, MR8, and LS.
• Mechanical Parameters
▫ Weight: 3.1 kg

▫ In the gain locking mode, the gain of the EDFA is tunable and users can query the
actual gain of the EDFA. The gain locking mode is enabled by default.
▫ The power locking mode applies to the dummy light scenario in which the output
optical power of the EDFA needs to be locked.
• Cascade ports: Provides intermediate ports for capacity expansion. If necessary, these
ports are cascaded with other OADM boards to expand the capacity of add/drop
channels.
• Wavelength query: Specifies and queries the wavelengths for the added or dropped
signals.
• IPA: When a fiber cut occurs on the line, the intelligent power adjustment (IPA) function
shuts down the upstream optical amplifier to prevent the laser exposure from hurting
the maintenance personnel. After the fiber is repaired, the optical amplifier works
normally.
• OL is an optical line board that integrates the functions of the transmit and receive
optical amplifiers, XFIU unit, OPM, and OSC&OTDR.
• The TMN1OL board is an OTM line board. It amplifies optical signals, demultiplexes and
multiplexes the optical supervisory channel (OSC) and the main optical path signals,
and monitors the optical power. It can be used at the transmit end and receive end.
• Mechanical Parameters
▫ Weight: 3.04 kg

• IPA: When a fiber cut occurs on the line, the intelligent power adjustment function shuts
down the upstream optical amplifier to prevent the laser from exposing and avoid
human injuries. After the fiber is restored, the optical amplifier works normally.
• IPC: The intra-station power control (IPC) function is used to detect intra-site fibers.
When an intra-site fiber cut occurs, the output optical power of the optical amplifier
(OA) board is automatically controlled to be lower than or equal to 21.3 dBm.
• The OLA board integrates the functions of the optical amplifier, XFIU, OPM, and
OSC&OTDR. It provides functions and features such as gain adjustment, online optical
performance monitoring, gain locking, and transient control.

•The fan tray assemblies provide 2+1 backup. When one fan
tray assembly fails, the system can still run properly for a
short term at room temperature. However, to ensure long-
term stable running of the system, replace the fan tray
assembly in a timely manner. Short-term operation means

that the continuous operating time does not exceed 96
hours and the accumulated time per year does not exceed
15 days.
•If two or more fan tray assemblies fail, replace the faulty
fan tray assemblies immediately.
