SCHOOL ARTS MONTH 2024 – POSTER MAKING CONTEST

To: All Grade 1 to 6 Teachers

Others Concerned

1. As culminating activity of February’s NATIONAL ARTS MONTH with the

theme: “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain”, our school will conduct “Poster
Making Contest on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the school covered court.

2. The objectives of the activity are the following:

a. Inculcate the importance of art on our learners as part of our collective

aspiration of building a progressive nation that places high value on
imagination, innovation and artistic expression.

b. Encourage young learners to share their talent in visual arts that can be
developed to enhance our local artistic culture.

c. Select the best young artist that can represent our school in higher art-
related contest.

3. Participants to this activity are pre-selected grades 1 to 6 learners. A meeting of all

grade level MAPEH coordinators will be held on Wednesday- February 28, 2024 at
School Library Hub for the finalization of program activities and contest mechanics.

4. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
