This is a short Remarks by President Biden to Military Families on Independence

Day,
"I believe its a choice we make. And I believe its within our power to choose
unity and unity of purpose.
As I look out tonight, here at the White House, I see so many military families who
understand the essential American truth. Its a greatest honor to serve as your
Commander-in-Chief. And Jill and I are humbled to be with you tonight.
Tomorrow, well be bestowing the Medal of Honor, the highest military award, to
heroic service members who represent the best of America, the backbone, the sinew,
the spine of America". See less

Today, on Veterans Day, we salute the honorable service and sacrifice of all
military members, past and present. Your dedication and willingness to serve our
great nation is the foundation upon which our country and military was built.
This ceremony is one small way we recognize and appreciate those who serve and have
served. Our veterans.
It is also a story of comraderie, pride, accomplishment, shared hardships, funny
stories, happy moments, sad moments and love. All those things and more bond the
veterans of yesterday, today and tomorrow."
We remain united in our willingness to fight in the defense of the homelands of the
Republic of Korea and the United States. We will continue to move forward together,
as one team, to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America
and our ROK-US Combined allies. See less

These ceremony was held to honor UN/US and ROK soldiers and Marines who, although
suffering heavy casualties, battled their way to the evacuation point at the port
of Hungnam.
Their bravery and sacrifice helped to preserve approximately 105,000 soldiers,
98,000 civilians, 17,500 vehicles and 350,000 tons of supplies.
This battle is regarded by some historians as the most brutal battle in modern
warfare due to the violence, casualties and extreme weather conditions.
