“I am What I am Now: Shane Daben

Journeys of Life”

Shane Marie C. Daben was born on June 7,

2001 on Parang, Marikina City. Her parents

separated when she was at the age of 2 and

her father brought her and his brother to

Negros Accidental. She was known as a cat lover and had several cats in

their house.

In her educational background, she graduated elementary at Pres.

Corazon C. Aquino Elementary School in the SY: 2013-2014 in Quezon

City. She graduated Junior High School at San Mateo National High School

in the SY: 2018-2019. She graduated Senior High School in ICCT College,

SAN MATEO CAMPUS in the SY: 2020-2021. So now she is currently

studying as 3rd year BEED student at San Mateo Municipal College.

Throughout her life in the province, she had a difficult time in her

early childhood, she was taught agricultural activities at the age of 6. In her

elementary days, she gained several awards and achievements in

academic excellence. But then, she moved to Manila at the age of 10 with

her father to continue her studies. Her father had a new wife and it is one of
the traumatic experiences she encountered with her stepmother. At the age

of 16, she knew how to manage their family business. Finally, in her current

and recent situation, she still pursuing her studies in college to become a

successful teacher. According to her “Life was so hard, but still keep going

until it will be worth it.”
