He served as the Director General (Additional Secretary of the Government) of the Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU}, Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division of Ministry of Planning, Government of Bangladesh, ‘Mr. Hossain is engaged in public procurement trainer since the reform in public procurement is initiated in Bangladesh. He is certified National Trainer of public procurement, and a qualified resources person of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), UK, and a trainer of Public Private Partnership. He worked closely in developing the public private partnership legal, institutional and financing framework in Bangladesh. He also served as Head of PPP Unit in Finance Division, Ministry of Finance. As a member of the Bangladesh Civil Service Administration, he worked in different Ministries as well as in the field level, with experience in project facilitation, Preparation, negotiation, implementation and monitoring with active role in procurement management. He also has achieved Diploma in Developing Economics from IDE advanced school, Japan, Mr. Faruque Hossain is a renowned writer on children and juvenile literature of Bangladesh and writing rhymes, stories, articles, feature, travel experiences since the end of seventies and published more than 50 Books in different areas. He has been awarded with Dhake University Award, Nurul ‘Quader Foundation Award, Agrani Bank-Bangladesh Shishu Academy Children’s Literary Award, City Bank-Ananda Alo Award, Sikander Abu Zafor Award and many more as recognition of his work. Haque Director (Additional Secretary), CPTU Planning Commission Mr. Haque completed his Masters in Public Procurement Management Institutions from University of Turin, Italy and completed his Honor’s in Statistics from Dhaka University. Mr. Haque has about 21 years working experience in different ministries. Currently he is working in CPTU as Director. Mr. Ali served as a staff in the Country Director's office of the World Bank's Bangladesh operations, and in the senior management level in the country’ export oriented readymade garments sector. He has provided consultancy services in the areas of system design, project monitoring, Information technology, capacity building and training, and supply chain management. Mr. Ali provided professional services to national and international banks, manufacturing organizations, consultancy firms and bilateral and multilateral development finance organizations ~ working variously in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kenya, and the US. Mr. Allis an MCIPS from the Chartered institute of Procurement and Supply, UK. He holds a Master of Business Administration qualification in Financial Management from the Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Punjab University.
