First Day at School

1. I was the only girl whose shirt was not as white as anyone else’s. It made me very
shy. So I stepped aside to a quiet place.

2. Surprisingly, there was a teacher who approached me from teacher’s room, she
was Mrs. Arinda. At first, I thought Mrs. Arinda was going mad at me because I did
not get along with the other friends.

3. I remember the first day at high school. It was 2 years ago when I was 15 years old.
All of the new students wore new uniforms, except me.

4. After that, she offered me her hands while still smiling so brightly. Then I smiled
back at her with the best smile I could ever show. Since that day, the school has
become a better place for me to stay.

5. Mrs. Arinda had shown me that looks were not the only value that someone has.
Instead, the real value of a human being can be seen from their attitude, behaviour,
and heart.

6. Turns out I was wrong. When she approached me, she smiled at me. Then, she
also asked if I did not feel comfortable being in the middle of a crowd.

Skipped the Physics Class

1. At that time, I was still 14 years old. It was Thursday in 5th lesson hours. We should
have a physics class from the 5th until 6th lesson hours.

2. This is something that happened when I was in junior high school. Skipping the
class was not a new thing for many students. However, skipping physics class
always gave me more adrenaline.

3. There was a high wall which also served as a fence. While running, I jumped trying
to jump over the wall. But I failed to jump over it. Next, I ended up hurting myself
instead.

4. When in junior high school, physics was my biggest enemy at school. After the 4th
lesson hour finished, I was almost ready to leave the class. Unfortunately, the time
left was too little.

5. Eventually, some teachers came out from their classes and helped me. Then, I
stayed in school not in the classroom but in the student health unit.

6. Nevertheless, I did not give up so easily. When the teacher was writing something
on the white board, I sneaked out through the back door. After that, I ran to the
back of the school.
