NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the provisions contained in sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 7 of the

Indian Police Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, the Union Public
Service Commission has on 01.06.2015, approved the Select List of the year 2013
prepared by the Selection Committee in its meeting held on 09.02.2015, containing the
names of the following State Police Service officers of Tamil Nadu, towards filling up 7
substantive vacancies in the Tamil Nadu Cadre of Indian Police Service:-

Supreme Court of India.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 9 of the Indian Police
Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, read with sub-regulation (1) of regulation 9 of the
Indian Police Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, the President is
pleased to appoint the following members of Tamil Nadu Police Service to the Indian
Police Service on probation and to allocate them to the Tamil Nadu Cadre under sub- rule
(1) of the rule 5 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 :-
