Mode of operation
When opened using a central lock, the luminaire switches off automatically (optional).

The linear luminaire with Series 6002/4 LED is ideal for lighting surfaces at a mounting height of up to 10 m.
It can also be used to illuminate equipment and objects, both inside and outside. The pole mounting sleeve
accessory can be used to easily mount the luminaire on poles. Optionally, the luminaire can be equipped with
addressable equipment. It can be used to control and monitor the luminaire for the common battery systems.

[15] Beschreibung des Produkts

Die LED-Langfeldleuchte Typ 6002/1., 6002/2. und 6002/4. ist für den Einsatz in gas- und
staubexplosionsgefährdeten Bereichen der Zonen 1, 2, 21 und 22 bestimmt. Die Leuchte besteht aus
einem Polyestergehäuse, einer Montageplatte / Reflektor mit LED-Baugruppen, LED-Betriebsgerät
und Anschlussklemmen sowie einer transparenten Abdeckung aus Polycarbonat. Die Leuchte ist für
den Einsatz im Innen- und Außenbereich vorgesehen.
Im Leuchtentyp 6002/1. und 6002/2. werden separat zugelassene LED-Baugruppen mit High-Power-
LEDs eingesetzt. Die LEDs sind in der Zündschutzart druckfeste Kapselung „db“ geschützt.
Im Leuchtentyp 6002/4. werden integrale LED-Module mit Mid-Power-LEDs verwendet. Die einzelnen
LEDs sind in der Zündschutzart Eigensicherheit „ib“ geschützt, welche in Verbindung mit einem
separat zugelassenen Ex-i-Modul (Strombegrenzer) hergestellt wird.

Zusammenfassung der Prüfergebnisse

Die LED-Langfeldleuchte Typ 6002/1., 6002/2. und 6002/4. erfüllt die Anforderungen des Explosions
schutzes für Geräte der Gruppe II, Kategorie 2G und 2D, in der Zündschutzart erhöhte Sicherheit „e“
in Kombination mit druckfester Kapselung „d“ und Vergusskapselung „m“, Eigensicherheit „i“, Schutz
durch Gehäuse „t“ und inhärent sichere optische Strahlung „op is“ für die Explosionsgruppen IIB+H2
bzw. IIC und NIC.
Sicherheitstechnische Hinweise:
■ Das Kunststoffgehäuse ist gegen intensive elektrostatische Aufladevorgänge zu schützen. Die
Oberfläche darf nur feucht gereinigt werden.

The LED Linear Luminaire of type 6002/1., 6002/2. and 6002/4. is suitable for use in areas with
potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres of zone 1, 2, 21 and 22. The luminaire consists of a
Polyester enclosure, an assembly plate / reflector with LED modules, LED control gear and terminals,
and a light-transmitting cover made of polycarbonate. The luminaire is intended for indoor and outdoor
use.
In luminaire type 6002/1. and 6002/2. separately certified LED assemblies with high-power LEDs are
applied. The LEDs are protected in type of protection flameproof enclosure “db”.
In luminaire type 6002/4. integral LED modules with mid-power LEDs are applied. The individual LEDs
are protected in type of protection intrinsic safety “ib”, which is provided in combination with a
separately certified Ex-i module (current limiter).

Safety instructions:

Maintenance of Dust- and Water-Proof Light Fittings

All repair and maintenance works on the light fittings to be done by electrically
skilled employees or under the supervision of such a person only
( DIN VDE 0105 und VBG 4 ) !
1. Maintenance work
1.1 Structure of the housing of the light fitting:

When making any maintenance work you have to convince yourself that the housings of the
luminaires are of such a condition that they will perform their function without any problem.
The protection against accidental contact as well as the ingress protection of the light fittings
must be kept. Any damaged housings or sections of the housings as well as any damaged
closure or any defective gaskets must be replaced. Any supporting structures that serve for
mounting the luminaire or for keeping the housings in their correct position must be checked
with regard to their mechanical condition and finally be replaced when the occasion arises.
1.2 Structure of the electrical components:

The electrical components and above all the wiring must be checked with regard to keeping
the electrical safety. In this connection it is most important that the measures of protection
against accidental contact are maintained. The insulation of the electrical components must be
checked. Any parts which keep the electrical components in their correct position must be
checked with regard to their perfect functioning.
1.3 Cleaning:
In case of necessity the bowl shall be cleaned with cold or with lukewarm water only by using
either a viscose sponge or a soft non-fibrous cloth. Before using any cleaner please check the
material consistency.
1.4 Lamp replacement:

The economically useful lighting hours depend on the lamp itself and on the number of
switching actuations. Therefore it is recommended to pay attention to the data of the individual
lamp manufacturer.
2. Repairs:
2.1 How to repair:

It is a condition that for replacing any individual components only parts of the same
mechanical, electrical and thermal qualities are used. If, however, the original type of the
defective part is no longer available, the manufacturer of the light fitting must be consulted. He
will tell you which other spare product can be taken.
2.2 Electrical test to be made after any repair work:

In the end of any repair work you have to make a measurement of the earth
conductor/insulation resistance as well as a function test.
